It was our first time going to Turtle Bay and we thought it was amazing! The staff were all very attentive and excellent at their jobs (Robbie, our server, was lovely!). The food was exciting and different to things we had tried before, we didn't have to wait long and everything was tasty. Bustly and fun atmosphere, very busy but still room to move. Would recommend!

Food is amazing (recommend the shack stack burger) and staff are lovely. Cocktails are all very unique and all of us could get drinks that we wanted!! Great way to unwind after a stressful day.

Delicious, fresh food with fast and friendly service. Jai was very attentive and looked after us well. We particularly loved the Budda bowl and the plantain pudding. Funky and fun atmosphere!

Great Location for brunch, drinks & light bites. If you are looking for tasty Caribbean food, this is not it. . . but that is okay. It has its place for providing a Caribbean experience. That being said, I haven't been in a while so maybe the food taste better - across the chains.

Went late afternoon so restaurant wasn't too busy so the service was swift which is great when partaking in the bottomless brunch.
Food and drink was excellent as it always is. The waitress Shanique deserves special mention as she didn't stop once in all the time I was there and ensured I got real value for money

Food was amazing! Had the sharers plater and wish my GF wasn't here to share it... calamari in particular was so good!
Miles was our server today, cool guy and brought me cocktails so what's not to like?
Atmosphere so lively and cheerful.

Love TB! It’s our go to place when we want good food, great atmosphere and cocktails!! Robbie our waiter was excellent, attentive, helpful, knowable and just a nice bloke.

Loved the food! Especially the curried goat hash! Our server was fantastic and very friendly. Lots of choice of cocktails. It's just a shame you didn't have the plantain on as you have such a small pudding selection.

This bottomless brunch was made by a lovely young lady called Victoria! Thank you gal for a lovely brunch. 10/10 service, really lovely and relatable, give that girl a raise, I’ll be back due to this lovely girl.

I came for bottomless brunch with some friends and was more than satisfied with the service from Natasha who made sure we understood everything when seated and then would check everything was fine during our visit. Our waitress Yida was super attendant with getting our drinks which made the whole bottomless experience a breeze and very enjoyable. Also the food and cocktails did not disappoint, will be back to do this again.

We done the bottomless brunch. Food was amazing recommend the Shack Stack Burger the thickness of it was an immense cooked to perfection. Alex was on the floor delivering cocktails on point in a very timely manner, with an amazing attitude and self respect of the service offered. Each time always greeted with a big smile and no task was too much for him and the team. Definitely returning

Jai is the reason this place gets up to a 4 star rating. Customer service from Jai was 10/10. We went for bottomless brunch and she was so attentive, checking what drinks we’ve already had and recommending new drinks !!! She’s so amazing and lovely, had small talk too. Honestly she’s an amazing addition to the establishment. Food could’ve been better and drinks could’ve been stronger but overall a good experience

First time ever visiting. Was a Saturday afternoon. Very busy but got seated straight away. No prior booking. Fast service. Our food arrived very quick. Even before our drinks. We had a sharer platter with an extra side of Mac & Cheese. The platter was jerk wings (4) strips of squid (4) Trini doubles (small soft flat roti with shredded jerk chicken on) (2) & cheesy jerk fries. I personally wasn’t impressed by the food. The wings were tiny. The squid was, squid with a little sweet chilli sauce. The fries were fries with some Jerk sauce in the bottom of the dish and cheese on top. The roti was nice. This sharer can easily be finished by one person. Staff were helpful and friendly.

What a great, vibrant place for a meal and cocktails. 6pm Friday night, busy as can be, shown straight to our table, quick service for drinks and food. Fantastic food, piping hot and just right on spice level.

Our server Alex was great, he was very welcoming and ensured we were happy during our visit. The food was delicious and we had a great lunch. Thank you 😊

The goat curry portion was very small — not worth paying £14.5. However, the dish was delicious. The chicken wings were well cooked and the gravy had the right amount of spice!

We visited on a Saturday night and it was very busy which meant it was very noisy (as expected) upon seating we found ourselves on the laps of the table behind us more or less engaged in their conversation. We had to wait 30 odd minutes to receive our drinks (which the waiter then removed from the bill as he was aware it was becoming a joke) the food arrived and was basically piled on top of each plate as
The table we were given was so small, the chips were as cold as a December morning and the chicken looked like it had been blow torched. We were disappointed as we were celebrating a family birthday and the highlight of the night was walking out. Would not recommend to my worst enemy

I was not impressed with the food which can be too hot for some customers and the cocktails, atmosphere was good but so noisy you hardly here the music playing in the background.
The waiter service was excellent!
Caribbean food doesn’t had to Hot so people can’t enjoy it 😅

Not the best bar area, dirty glasses, being washed under a tap . Now, the food 10 of us went for, 4 was sent back . Not great at all

Out of my close circle of friends, it is The Artist Formally Knows as Craig that I have known the longest. Since meeting him in a dodgy nightclub when I was eighteen whilst wearing a see-through black shirt, we have had a decade misbehaving and chasing girls, followed by half a decade reminiscing of our glory days whilst being all grown up and monogamous. As the city has evolved around us, so have we: I have steered away from the dodgy fashion faux-pas and he no longer has his birth name; instead choosing to be legally known as something far more pretentious, hand-picked from a phone directory after a few beers, which I will spare him the blushes of here. He’s a good lad with a great heart and horrendous taste in food, which is why I should never have let him choose where we would eat as a final meal before he leaves these shores for Canada next week. He sends a text message to me suggesting “Turtle Head”, which I take to be Turtle Bay – a Caribbean restaurant on John Bright Street I’ve been meaning to try for some time. In hindsight I should have double-checked where he meant; perhaps I could have ended up with a dinner I would eat.

Jerk Lamb. Spicy and awesome

All lunchtime menus are a barginous £6.95 and I chose the Jamaican classic, jerk chicken with rice and peas, spicy succulent and tender wings paired with the mellow rice n peas and crunchy slaw. My friend chose pulled pork brioche bun which was served with fries. I'm not sure how authentic this dish was, but it certainly looked appetising.

The menu boasts a great selection, from cutters (street-food-inspired starters) to the one pot dishes I remember so affectionately. We decided to share a few starters including the Beach Food Platter of jerk chicken wings, pepper roti, sweetcorn fritters and garlic & herb flatbread. There wasn’t quite enough for our group there, so we also ordered portions of fried plantain and chilli-fried squid. The fried plantain was standout for me – absolutely delicious. The chilli fried squid w
