Went here with my husband to have dessert 🍨and coffee. Person who's name I didn't fully get, I think he said Ahmed, made us the best dessert ever. I had such a nice waffle after a very long time. Wasn't soaked in chocolate and was perfect with my perfect cup of latte. Very much appreciated. Will defo recommend.
Thankyou Ahmed

Jamjar used to be AMAZING a fee years ago and jam-packed pardon the pun. We got there at 21:00 so it wasn't late and it was empty. Service was good and desserts arrived in a timely manner. Chai Latte was average. The cookie dough, brownie and mint choc chip ice cream was agreeable but the Biscoff cheesecake left a lot to be desired and wasn't what we expected. OWNERS of JamJar please read this review and make immediate changes or it could spell trouble. 😉

The quantity of the food is good and is very nice. It was a hot day and the inside was nice and cold.

Good layout and has separate family/private booths. Plenty of space and friendly service. Only downside is that they don't sell ice cream cones for children to enjoy. Parking only on side roads. Recommended for family and friends.

Favorite place for Milkshakes. I come here almost once a week or once every 2 weeks because I love their milkshakes. If they ever close down I'll be very sad because this is the best place for it. Their milkshakes are in jars hence the name. The jars look very unique. It's filling.

Tasty desserts in an ideal location right next to numerous restaurants.
10/10 for presentation and decor, customer service was fantastic. We sat upstairs and they had mats for salat 🧎🏾♂️as well which saved us time as we were travellers.

One of the best dessert spots in Brum. Great desserts and friendly service. The interior and decor of the place gives it a nice vibe, American style. The have a good selection of desserts, decent portions and great taste. The also do teas and coffees. Prices are slightly high but well worth it

We had this ferroro richer waffle and it was delicious. We went on a fairly busy night and still managed to get the dessert without much waiting. Customer service was great. Along with dessert we had mint tea and cinnamon tea. We were not impressed with the cinnamon tea. It could have been brewed better. Hence the 4 stars. But apart from that everything was great

Jam jars is like many of the desert shops out there they do cookie dough, crepes, waffle sundaes but they are great tasting and fresh with excellent customer service, I have only ever tried the cakes(strawberry and rocher cakes) and concrete cake with custard never disappointed best in brum in my opinion imly downside is they only take cash.

Lovely smell and dessert to match.
Mixed chocolate cookie dough for those that can’t decide... back to school menu doesn’t disappoint.. Milkshakes are decent at best
Should be noted that it is cash only
Would have given a 3 but the lad there gave me a good chuckle and gave 15% off :)

Excellent place for dessert. I only to went to one place for dessert during my two day stay in Birmingham and ended up coming here twice. Absolutely loved their mixed Cookie Dough. The staff were very polite, accommodating and attentive, they can't be faulted. Will definitely be coming back if I'm in the area.

A lovely 1st time experience in Brum! This place is good, I enjoyed my soft lotus cheesecake with Latte. Others had Sundaes & cookie dough and they all enjoyed their desserts.

Amazing Oreo and Lotus Biscoff Milkshake and the best flake waffle around Birmingham. Such friendly staff and time to be seated is very quick . Will definitely be recommending to family and friends!

We got here through the snowy roads, ordered a takeaway and as the first customers our waffles melted in our mouth. It was delicious. crunchy, warm, soft inside and gooy with chocolate melting down the sides. We ate them so fast. It was fresh which was exactly how we wanted it, making the drive down worth it. The best waffles we've eaten! Definitely worth coming here. Just make sure they make you a fresh batch to enjoy it like we did.

Hands down one of the best dessert places in Birmingham. I had a Ferrero Roche crepe with a milkshake and it tasted amazing. The food is priced correctly and will definitely go back.

First time here... Loved it so much... had a banoffee waffle with Nutella and cinnamon ice cream! It was amazing only thing I wasn't a fan of was the fruits of the forest mocktail.

Definitely one of the best dessert parlours around. The deco is very nice and lifts your mood. The desserts are outstanding especially the cookie dough and waffles.
Definitely recommend this place to visit.

It was my first time visiting and the service/place certainly did not meet my expectations.
When we wanted to order, we had to go and find the waiter ourselves instead of him coming to us even though there were hardly any customers around.
When we finally got our desserts the waiter told us we had five minutes to eat as they were closing. Bearing in mind, the closing time says 11:30pm, and there was still 45 minutes left.
We were trying to eat as fast as we could, until a different waiter came up to us and put the bill on the table telling us we HAD to leave as it was closing time. We hadn't even finished our dessert as it had only come 5 minutes before they decided to tell us the place was closing, and they did not offer us any bags to take it home either.
Worst service ever. If they were closing in five minutes why did the waiter not make us aware of this when showing us to the table? If we had known, we would have gone elsewhere instead of giving them our money and not even being able to finish our food in peace.

The worst service ever . The desert took forever to arrive at the table while I was the only customer there . Big no no . Prices are high as they are based in small heath .

On the first occasion I visited it was uncomfortable and strange as the waiter continuously sang love songs, even whilst serving which was very inappropriate. On my second visit the waiter was somewhat confused and gave the wrong order, part of which had to be changed, although this was done without any fuss.

The staff allocate you a table / you can choose, you get a menu and are served as in a restaurant without having to que at the till which is great (although it will take slightly longer). There is seating upstairs on the mezzanine floor also, great for those who are in a larger group such as famililes (kid's high chairs available although no stair gate, be warned!) or even for those who want some privacy in such a busy place (there are even fold out screens if you wish to utilise them).

I would recommend the waffle with strawberry - very fresh and perfect for those with a sweet tooth. The mojito drink was so-so, but very pricey! I was however really disappointed with the strawberry mocktail, it was vile, a mix of jam from a jar (no pun intended) and slushy ice, how anyone can serve that to paying customers with a straight face is beyond comprehension!

Great desserts and great atmosphere. The few waiters can get rude but the majority of them are well mannered. Overall its a great place, and will definitely be going there again!
Foodie101
Never have I witnessed such an appalling level of service and had the displeasure of having such awful desserts!! Staff behind the till are incredibly rude, with the exception of the odd waiter. They know nothing about customer service & sure as hell don't make you feel welcome. You can find better desserts at McDonald's!
Furah Mahmood
The quality of the food was fantastic however, serving took a while & I didn't like the idea of waiting for someone to serve us. That took a while but I love the layout of the place, people also pray upstairs which is brilliant.
Akbn90
When we went we expected good service and good food. We had very poor service. The man was very rude and offensive. The food and drink we bought was of poor quality. I can't believe we actually ended up buying the food. Frankly, I would never go there again and will definitely be telling everyone of what disgusting service me had.
