Johnny Wong's

We went to Johnny wong"s for my sons birthday and we had a great time, as soon we walked in the customer service was great we were made to feel very welcoming, Wendy you were fantastic very friendly and we all chatted as if we were long lost friends, the food was good, this is such a relaxed place we were not rushed at all. Food that was left over, we were able to take home which was awesome for the following day Staff very friendly and attentive . Thank you Wendy and the young girl that was helping, we will definitely return 😘

Ordered from here via Uber Eats! Wow what tasty food. Best Chinese I think I have ever had. Crispy duck, pork chow mein and egg fried rice all piping hot and delicious. Made me want to visit the restaurant to sit in one day! The delivery driver was friendly and promptly called when he arrived at my accommodation block so I could go down to meet him.

When reviewing a restaurant, it's good to start with the food, but for Johnny Wong's I need to start with the service. From the moment you arrive, the service is impeccable, welcoming and makes you feel like part of the family. The staff are extremely accommodating to dietary requirements and no request is too large. Many Chinese restaurants I've visited have dismissive staff and an out the door quick policy, this is not true of Johnny Wong's. Even after I'd finished my meal, the staff came back to ask if I was OK and did not rush to bring the cheque, which is great as I wanted to relax a while. The food is quite simple perfect. I've never had food arrive so hot to my table. Everything from the soup to the curry and rice were cooked perfectly and served at a great temperature. The chicken was soft and tasty and the rice was not hard at all, the flavours were well balanced and there was no feeling of too much oil which is often the case with many Chinese meals. All in all a great experience with attentive service and excellent food. I'll certainly be returning when I'm next in the area and fancy a sit down meal.
