I thought I would try this Chinese, because it was a black Friday deal. First of all the takeaway was 1 hour late!! Then the food order was wrong as we got 3 bags of chips instead of 2 bags of chips and chicken balls, it was the only thing my son eats other than chips. Food was cold!! Food wasnt the best tasting, ribs were tiny with no meat!! So I was annoyed. So I decided to phone them several times, they didnt answer or it was engaged the whole night. Avoid like the plague to avoid disappointment!! I will definitely pay full price at my local Dragon Court!! Quicker, Tastier, So much better!!

I hate to have to write a bad review as we’ve used this restaurant in the past and had no problem but something has changed since then.
We’ve ordered twice from here in recent months and had HUGE delays on delivery. The first time the food took around an hour and a half when we were told it would be much quicker (30-45 mins). Not an unheard of amount of time for delivery but no effort to manage expectation on delivery by The Ruby.
The last time a few days ago we ordered at 7:50pm. We were told the food would be delivered within 30mins but it didn’t turn up for 2 hours. It arrived just before 10pm! I tried multiple times to phone for an update and the line was engaged constantly.
Very disappointing.

Starter rubbish order arrived an hour and 10 mins late. Rude manager when I asked how the starter was as same as on menu. The starter had small pieces of ribs, 2 pieces of squishy chicken pieces full of soggy chips and paid £18.00. Waste of money. Never order from here again.

Awful cardboard like, reheated chips that are inedible and curry sauce in tiny portions. A horrendous waste of money. Literally had to bin most of the latest £30 worth of food. It would be only fair to offer a partial refund..as it was impossible to eat a lot of the order I don't think it qualifies as food and therefore isn't what we ordered or paid for!

What a faff to ask for a request. My dad wanted a special box and he isn’t fussed over the chips and I thought I’d have them. I asked for them to separate and it seemed an issue and I was told it would be very small.
So we ordered an extra portion and the special box he had, had no chips. Nice.
Then no mask in the kitchen it seems and when paying he said it was £10 minimum on card then accepted £7.90. But was so moody.
Lovely food though. Just get someone good to serve and talk to customers

This place has horrendous customer service. Having ordered Chinese food once every month since the start of lockdown! My last order was very short of satisfying.
Order amounted to over £30 entitling me to a ' Free bottle of Soft drink'. The order arrived with No Drink and missing curry sauce. Immediately contacted Ruby, but owner refused to send one, stating the Special Offer did not apply to Just Eat orders, he refused to give his name and abruptly disconnected the call. Plain rude.
No option but to make complaint to Customer Solutions and told would be included in my next order. Epic fail! To spite me, they sent a bottle of Coke Cola with foreign labelling and almost FOUR months out of date. Trading Standards informed. Avoid at all costs!!

It's been a while since I last visited there, the food was quite nice but smaller portions and a bit expensive. May go there again if I am in the area.
