We call in for a drink on our way down to catch the ferry to Ambleside ,it’s a Quint bar, just off the main drag we sat outside in the autumnal sunshine and had a jug of sangria for two ,inside, was spotlessly clean, including the toilet.

Zufällig entdeckt. Das Bier ist sehr lecker. Das Essen noch besser. Großer Portionen für wenig Geld. Man bestellt an der Theke und bezahlt gleich. So kann man direkt gehen, wenn man gegessen hat. Das Essen ist von sehr guter Qualität und sehr liebevoll auf Schiefernplatten angerichtet. Selbst die Mayonnaise für die Pommes frites hat nicht extra gekostet. Ein Traum.

We love this bar for the friendly welcome we always get. The team are super friendly and remember our drinks order year to year! Sitting in the sunshine or under the heater in the cold - it’s always a great place to have a drink. Love this place x

Great little cafe and bar tucked in a corner, and it’s dog friendly too. Cocktails, coffee and tea were all great, although no food on offer and I’m pretty sure I’ve been here before and they’ve done a charcuterie board (although it was 6 years ago…) and cream teas. Would definitely recommend for a fun evening in Bowness.
