I absolutely adore the West Hill Tavern!
The roasts on a Sunday are absolute perfection. The roasties and other veggies are always super tasty and the meat is amazing (personally id go for the pork every time!) Plus the vegan roast is super tasty too! My friends and I like to go for the two-for-one Tuesday burger night and have never been let down. A really imaginative and tasty menu, partnered with their top notch range on gins and the open mic night - its a perfect Tuesday night!
The staff are always super happy to go the extra mile and you are always welcomed with a big hello.

The food and booze is always top notch in this pub, which includes veggie and vegan fodder so all tastes are catered for. DJs are regular and it attracts great muso sorts on those nights as well as lovely locals. A great little boozer!
Lovely pub and staff. The Bar team are super friendly and the place has a really nice atmosphere about it. The West Hill Tavern had been recommend to me by friends after they had been there and had the Sunday roast. Needless to say the roast was every bit as nice as I had been told it was. I have already recommended it to friends and colleagues as the place to go the next time they fancy a Sunday Roast out or even a nice drink. A great little pub with a fantastic team.
Lovely staff, great vibes, Balearic jazz infused tunes by the always awesome DJs and delicious pizza! What more do you want?

One of Brighton's absolute BEST roasts by far. Super friendly staff too. Book ahead to avoid disappointment. Also get the cauliflower cheese
I was there hosting a charity quiz event, but I was thoroughly impressed with the place. Good layout, comfortable seating, good service, and the pizzas looked good too. I shall look forward to our next one.
Came here as my friend wanted to and said they do Italian and pizza. I was very skeptical . However I was pleasantly surprised. I had the Bon chovi , which tasted good and some olives. Nice wine and good service
Best roast in Brighton! The kitchen deserve 5 stars. Our 5 noisy little ones were less appreciated, hence the 4 stars. But if you're not a young family, you won't find a better lunch.

Came here as a group of 20 for my birthday on Sunday. We’ve had a roast here before, which was excellent, so I was hoping it would be just as good the second time (especially being such a big group; and a 4pm sitting which in other pubs can sometimes mean roasts aren’t as fresh).
It did not disappoint. The food was delicious, hot, and the staff were absolutely lovely. Hats off to the chef who can send our 20 faultless roasts with crispy roast potatoes in the space of 5 minutes! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves, thank you so much for another great meal :)
Excellent service from the moment we walked in. Sunday roast was fantastic and portion sizes were great value for money. Under tier 2 restrictions, they have a great selection of food with hand sanitisers dotted around, and staff wearing masks at all times. My only fault would be that tables aren't necessarily far enough apart. Although this didn't really bother us, we know it may be a factor for others visiting. Will definitely visit again!
