Pretty decent walk by choice for a few drinks. The place was friendly and good buzz to its. Tables a little uncomfortable and shakey but not a major complaint. Staff were friendly. Ordered cocktails which were a little poor to taste but fine for two for £10

As someone who is very fussy about how they like their roast dinners, this meal was great. Very well prepared, tasted great and beautifully presented. Their cauliflower pops were to die for.
The server was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.
The only thing that made me not give a 5/5 was that the roast potatoes were not crispy, although this is a very minor quibble.
Would definitely recommend.

Since my last not so good review , things have changed for the better at the Amsterdam.
Chloe the new manager and her team, Nadia , Ben and Katie are all nice and pleasant .
We are always greeted with a smile and made to feel welcome.
The beer is good as is the food, and on Mondays food is 50% off !!
Probably the best pub in Shoreham.

Ate mid week and extremely happy with the Caribbean food on offer, ordered a sharing platter and couldn’t finish it despite us both being greedy, and then heard about the roast…. A very well priced affair and absolutely stunning. Ordered a side of cauliflower cheese to round it off . Go here but book as you’ll need to. Staff outstanding making it all a perfect Sunday afternoon. Seriously this is a great place to eat .

What a find! A family run pun with a Caribbean twist. The food was so good, we had the platter between 3 and there was more than enough. Chicken wings, coleslaw, mac and cheese, fries and the squid! Lovely, friendly staff. Will definitely go back for more. Excuse the photo - we were hungry!
