The food was amazing. Everything was prepared beautifully, and it came surprisingly quickly. You could tell everything was fresh. I wouldn't have been surprised if the oysters had been caught that day. The service was lovely. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. It was very busy, and you could tell the servers were a little busy at times when you requested stuff but completely understandable. The only thing I would say is the milkshakes leave a lot to be desired, although very tasty they are tiny and can be finished off in a few sips. And this is a place where you should be prepared to spend over £100 for two people. All in all, it is a very great place and definitely worth a visit.
My friends and I had dinner here on a weekend night as a highly recommended restaurant in Brighton. We were never disappointed as all the food we ordered were very delicious. It was the perfect night for us surrounded by superb seafood, all customers laughing, enjoying their meals and friendly staff.
We’re a group of 4 and we got 3 platters (mediterranean, grilled and fried). oh, had the seafood risotto as well since most tables got it. We will definitely go back!
I almost gave the food a 3, but it was a good fresh piece of cod. The light batter on my fish and chips was crispy but flat in flavor. The chips were very traditional. However, I feel as if I used a lot of salt in them, but I'm not sure if that was just me or real.
The atmosphere and staff are second to known, I'd recommend this place and would love to give the other seafood items a try.
Beautifully cooked seafood at a seafront restaurant. Solid classic dishes, nothing fancy, just cooked right to bring out the full flavour of fresh seafood. The whitebait was plump and lightly breaded, the skate was perfectly cooked in a simple but tasty white wine and caper sauce. My partner's swordfish steak was also lovely. Service was friendly despite being very busy. There was a lively buzz throughout the restaurant. Bathroom was clean. Prices reasonable. Will definitely come here again when we're next in the area.
we ate dinner here, the fish was really fresh and the chips crispy on the outside and juicy in the inside. the portions were more than enough. the service was great, our waitress was really nice and asked more than one time if everything was okay. the only cons is that even though we had a reservation we had to wait a little bit. but the wait was worth it.
Third visit in 3 months.
Fish and seafood are good and the portions are good too.
All staff are European no Brits from why I could see so service was excellent and caring, fast and efficient!

Amazing food, well cooked, nicely served and delicious in flavour.
The team are friendly and hard working and smiling at all times and the atmosphere is just incredible.
We enjoyed a lovely end of day to our day out in Brighton on Sunday with the family for a lovely fulfilling meal.
Do check this place out if your a real seafood fan.. You won't regret it!

Memorable. We were happy to have spent between £400-£500 here. Fantastic restaurant. Our experience here was probably the best I have experienced. If you are wanting quality then this is the place to be. The staff were fantastic and the company we were sharing the evening with were even better.
We shall definitely be returning for sure.

A memorable experience with seafood. The cuisine was delicious and well-seasoned. It has food options beyond gravy and fries, which I found enticing. In contrast to most other restaurants, where service is typically monotonous and frigid, the staff was incredibly kind, caring, and warm.
Nice seafood restaurant in Brighton. Its the oldest seafood restaurant there. Fresh fish cooked well. Clean restaurant and staff are professional. It gets very busy and I felt we were rushed. That's the reason I didn't score 5.
I had the swordfish supreme, and my friend had the skate with white wine and caper sauce. These meals were delicious and perfectly cooked.
The whitebait and scampi was nice.
I do recommend this restaurant.
