Leo's Coney Island

Always great food. Greek chicken salad, all the breakfasts, chili, coneys, gyro, club sandwich are all awesome. Went there today with my daughter. She was asking about the kitchen and I asked our waitress if she could go back and peek to see the big skillet they cook on. They walked her back and the owner walked her around to show her all the parts of the kitchen. Very kind people. The manager/owner even came outside after we were walking to our car and gave my daughter a strawberry milkshake on the house! Totally unexpected and very nice of them. We will be back for sure. It’s encouraging to see kind people especially in the restaurant industry after all the junk they’ve been through being short on waitstaff and increasing food costs.

Amazing service, and food was served piping hot about 4 minutes after we ordered. The manager was out on the floor clearing tables, delivering food, and pouring coffee around the dining room. The environment on a Sunday morning is busy, loud and friendly with families enjoying each other's company. Will definitely return!

I have been going to this location for a couple years now and have always enjoyed the people and the food. However my last two times have made me think that I may not go back. Last week I went in at 8pm for dinner, I know they close at 9pm, I am a slow eaters so I was trying to hurry, at about 8:45 the (I think she was the manager came by my table and told me I had to hurry up as they closed at 9. Tonight. Went in at 7:30 so I would have plenty of time. But as soon as I placed my order they said they were closing as the A/C was not working. I understand why they wanted to close early, but hen this same manager from last week came to my table and said I needed to hurry up as they were closing early. I said I was paying for my meal and did not appreciate being rushed! She then told me the Air was not working and they wanted to leave because they also had a long drive home. (I am not sure how it’s my fault that they live a long ways away?). But I finished my meal and left and truthfully, I am not sure if I will ever go back.
