Culture Beer And Cheese

My wife has bought cheese from Culture before and I've never had an opportunity to go inside until tonight on a last minute cheese run for dinner. We didn't spend too much time in the store because it was close to closing but this place is awesome and I can't wait to stop back in! We really enjoyed our cheese and baguette. So happy to have this shop in downtown.

The folks working here know their stuff and have always been friendly and easy to talk to. So far, I've tried a few crepes which were a good size for brunch or in between meal. The hot pepper jam + brie tasted great! Felt adventurous and bought 3 cheeses I've never tried (though they offer samples), two craft beers, and some sliced meat for $20. Was enough for 2.5 charcuterie boards.

Every time I come to this store, I am blown away. Fantastic selection of cheese, and the knowledge to back it up. There is always something interesting and new to try, which I love since this part of Michigan typically doesn’t get a large selection of cheese. As someone who goes to a ton of different craft breweries, I’m also very impressed by the selection of beer in the store. It’s almost all of our favorites!

This is a gem of a store in Downtown Brighton! It’s a cheese lovers dream for sure! The selection of hard to find beers is fantastic but also a great place to find diverse mugs and tea towels! Carly, the owner is super helpful in making suggestions and even ordered some dairy free cheese for us! I’d say my favorite part was getting a tour from Milo! Will be back for sure!

We absolutely adore this store. The service is exceptional and the owners are very knowledgeable. At this point we've tried almost everything in the store and we love it all- except maybe the alarmingly hot cheese ;) . My son loves playing with theirs and I love having one place I can go to pick up wine, specialty beers, delicious meats and cheeses, pantry items, gifts for friends and grab a crepe for lunch or a gelato for dessert. Highly recommend.

Would leave 0 stars if I could! Extremely rude staff! Not welcoming or friendly at all! Staff made us feel completely unwecolmed & uncomfortable as soon as we walked in. The fact that my 3 year old had to say hello 10 times before you could even acknowledge her, says it all! We bought our daughter a scoop of ice cream and we're still looking around with the intention on buying cheese or beer. However, once they told my 3 year she could not sit down at one of their tables to eat her ice cream we left. Thankfully Great Harvest Bread Co next door was extremely welcoming & happy to let my daughter sit down and enjoy her ice cream in their warmth instead of outside in the middle of winter! I will never recommend Culture Beer and Cheese to anyone! Thanks for your great hospitality 🙄 My reply to you is that for one we did NOT clear your bin of masks... lol so that's a lie & for two this had nothing to do with masks. This has everything to do with how YOUR employees treated us. Also, our group of ten did NOT try to sit down at a table, my 3 year old was going to sit and eat her ice cream while we were shopping through to support your small business. Clearly we did not see your "many signs" that she could not sit down or else we wouldn't have told her to. Again this has nothing to do with masks, just about how we were treated.
