In my opinion and that of my friends, the best Fish & Chips within the city of Canterbury. Peter and his family have been supplying quality fish and chips since 1986? George His father sadly passed away but will always be remembered for his excellent service to the community! Peter continues this tradition, the food is all fresh and they remove the skin from the fish unlike so many others, meaning a fillet of cod is just pure fish not chewy skin. They always cook new potato’s when in season, supplied by a local potato merchant, oil always fresh, and it’s spotlessly clean. As a local business owner myself I’ve had the pleasure of both dining there and sending my clients there in the past. Always super food, great service and super friendly staff, a credit to the community!

Absolutely fantastic service from Pete, the manager. He arranged our family takeaway to perfection, even offering to run it down to where we we parked rather than having to go to the shop. Food was also fantastic, and plenty of it. Really good value for money. Would absolutely recommend and have told all my friends and will definitely return.

Had cod and chips today. Very nice indeed. Fish was well cooked not greasy chips were very good. Fish and chips being my favourite takeaway I would rate these as 4.8 out of 5 only just missing the 5 as the price to volume of food ratio was not as good as a very few others that hit the top spot Still one of the best I've had. Well done guys even the staff were really nice

Great fish, fast service and helpful staff. The place was recommended to us by our tour guide who took us on the nearby boat cruise. We tried their standard fish and chips. The fish felt fresh and everything was nice and crunchy. Definitely one of the best places in Cantebury to try the traditional fish and chips.

So pleased to spot this place, saved us a long walk out of town. Also we were able to sit and being outside was convenient for us with our dog. Better still, I asked about gluten free and they were able to just flour the fish with gluten free flour and fry, no other chippy has given me that simple option. Some have special days for gluten free, good but not always the right time. Anyway both my floured fish and my husband's battered were really lovely and the chips were perfect. Many thanks.
