Tried Omani Food for the first time and very pleased with my decision. Very high quality food, fresh and tasty. Atmosphere and ambience are ideal for a telaxed lunch or dinner. Staff arr very kind and polite. Strongly recommend this place.

A hidden gem on City Road. If you want authentic Omani cuisine don’t bother going anywhere else. Staff and the service at the restaurant was 10/10. Very friendly staff who navigated me through the menu to help me decide what to order. Would highly recommend. The lamb was beautifully cooked, soft and tender and was complemented very well by rice. Free complements such as soup and potatoes added even more joy to the experience- there very few places where you get this sort of dine in experience. I shall be visiting again soon!!

Pretty good meal here, unfortunately they'd sold out of the dishes we wanted to try.
Half a chicken was great, good flavour with crispy skin.
Lamb shank was OK but a little bit dry and very heavy on the cumin.
The curried broth (which was complimentary) was delicious, will definitely return to try the lamb Mandi in future.

I would love to recommend this halal Omani Resturant. All good food we had. People are nice and environment was very clean. Best was Omani Coffee MashAllah. The best thing is that serving was good in cheap price.

Super duper delicious grilled whole seabass served with rice and salad. Excellent service, very kind waiter catered to my request for extra salad and less rice. Came with complimentary lentil soup.

Amazing food and welcoming hospitality !
Some might force themselves to be put off by the setup, being mediocre by contemporary standards but walk in and past any prejudice if you enjoy food made well and with taste to savour.
Family in tow, our service from the pony tailed Libyan to the owner's young son taking our order and questions on allergens and re arranhing the order after 10 minutes of it patiently left nothing but good feelings towards the establishment.
Went in late for a working day so ended up being the last ones out. Will be visiting soon and often with friends and family. 👍🏼
I woould give it 4.5 but then for the money and the atmosphere it`s a total winner!

Amazing! Good price and very delicious food! My friend told me the seabass is the best in Cardiff, and she is right! So tasty. I strongly recommend it.
The lemon mint drink is very refreshing. I love it too.
The amount of food is so large that you may not be able to finish it yourself.

The most delicious Omani dishes in the UK. We tried different dishes and they are all very delicious. They taste like local Omani food you eat in Oman. Great success. The karak tea is very nice. The restaurant has nice traditional Omani dining rooms upstairs.
