Stopped here on the way back home for a very late lunch. Even though it was a Sunday and I hadn’t booked they let me order some food. I had a glass of white Viognier and some rarebit. Delicious! Staff were very friendly. Lovely atmosphere, lots of character and clean. Dog friendly too 🐺 👍

Exceptional food, great beer, but a pub is only ever as good as its staff. We visited today, and it was the team that made it for us. Super chilled, very informal, but no less attentive. We were really impressed. Landlord; you owe these guys a beer, as they are the best thing about your lovely pub.

Lovely garden area with heaters. Friendly staff, nice drinks. Haven't had food there yet but it always looks delicious so will definitely give it a go soon. Dog friendly. Edit: finally got around to trying their restaurant and it was amazing! Delicious food, friendly staff, lovely atmosphere (apart from a table next to us that kept laughing uncomfortably loudly, but not the restaurant's fault - some people crave attention) and reasonably priced, especially if you consider being the Michelin Guide Restaurant.
