Picked up a takeaway here tonight, tried a lot of Caribbean and african food outlets and first time with one on my doorstep, The Rocking chair.. Can't believe I missed this one! Great food guys well done.
I think they do baguettes in the daytime (which I will be back for!) 😁

My friends and I had a fantastic night here. From the moment we walked in all the staff made us feel so welcome. The barman made us a special Caribbean cocktail 🍹which was so good. We headed here before a big night out so also had some food. Soul in a bowl. Delicious. Food and drinks were so reasonably priced. Music was great too. We felt like we were on holiday. We danced and laughed the whole time we were there. Thanks so much to all the staff who work together to make this place great. We will be back for sure and next time we will bring all our friends. Xx

I moved from London to Cardiff 4 years ago. My family is Jamaican. I had given up of getting any authentic yard food. That was amazing. Perfectly spiced, fall apart meat and so much food I have lunch for tomorrow. I will definitely be back to try everything. Thank you. I'll actually take my Mum. Best compliment I could ever give!

Was a lovely chilled atmosphere with great music.. staff were polite and friendly. Food looked amazing (I didn't eat but some of the girls did) .. will be going back again :-) x
