Went here for some lunch with my brother and a friend the food was excellent. I fancied a plough man's they didn't have it on the menu that day but still done one for me and it was lovely staff were very friendly and the service was great. well done the rose and crown. Will defo be back

This is a fabulous pub. Just a bit too far for us to use as a local. Lovely in the summer and great food. Winter seats can be hard to find at the weekend .

Great food nice atmosphere lovely staff no rush to get table once eaten would say that if hadn't been for the seating outside wouldn't have stayed as long as the dining chairs were extremely uncomfortable.

Popped in for a drink and an impromptu lunch after a dog walk. Food was A*, really friendly service and dog friendly, will definitely be back!

I had the Cajun Chicken salad, my partner had Pie of the day with chips & not forgetting my little one with the best Chicken nuggets & chips.
The atmosphere is lovely, so relaxed and what makes this place very special is not just the wonderful food but all the Staff, omg they are truly amazing, it feels like your walking in to a big family from the time you arrive till the time.e you leave.

First visit in many years. Enjoyed a very relaxing lunch on the covered terrace. Food was excellent and the chilled sauvignon blanc was just what the doctor ordered for such a hot afternoon. Service was very quick and friendly. Looking forward to my next visit already.

Super little pub that we found on google maps after reading various reviews and also wanting to visit some where new.
