The Two Brewers

After my recent visit, The Two Brewers is, without doubt, my new favourite pub in Chemlsford. I was treated like an old friend from the moment I stepped through the door and whilst I visited other establishments during my visit to the town none matched the welcome I received at the Two Brewers. I ate several meals here and, as others have mentioned, the food is really good. They also have a good selection of drinks, with the options for spirits being particularly impressive. A lot of thought obviously goes into everything they are doing, and speaking to the manager it was clear that they have ambitions to further improve the whole experience. Overall, highly recommended.

Hired this place out for my daughters second birthday party. It’s such a big space, clean, tidy, and there’s an easy way to plug your phone etc in to play music (great for parties), we also hired out a soft play for the kids, and this fitted in perfectly in the space we had. They also do karaoke 🎤 which we didn’t do but I would definitely do it for an evening do! They are very helpful with any questions you have, they are also polite and friendly! We supplied our own food but I’m sure their food would be lovely as I have eaten in the actual Pub and the food is great!! Highly recommend for parties!! 🎉 thank you!!

First internal visit to a pub since it has been possible to order drinks at the bar and consume them there. I have always considered the "Brewers" bar to be too small but the place was not overpopulated, so there were no major problems in getting served by bar staff. Although on a solitary occasion was so lost in their day - dream it took a while to break the spell which had immobilised them. Otherwise the beer was well kept and the bar was clean and tidy. The food? I was not there to eat!

We used the Two Brewers Malt venue room for my husband’s 50th birthday party at the weekend and were really impressed by the venue itself and the service given. The venue had a nice cosy feel to it thanks to the lighting, as well as outdoor space. The buffet food was amazing and plentiful. The staff were really accommodating before the event and throughout the whole evening allowing us to simply enjoy the celebrations. I would definitely use this venue for an event in the future!
