The Vineyards is one of the local shopping areas with traditional independent businesses - and free car parking! The Glasshouse Cafe is our favourite place, with indoor/outdoor seating and always a friendly service. Our group have been having our weekly get-togethers and breakfast at the Glasshouse for nearly ten years. Maria prepares the best selection of fresh food - and the service is excellent. We love Maria's cooking and there is always a range of freshly baked cakes and cookies available. Recommended.

The Glasshouse is my favourite little gem in Great Baddow. Maria and the girls always give you a very warm welcome, especially Martine 😊 she always remembers just how I like my extra hot latte 😋 Always a nice varied menu plus daily specials, cooked to order, presented well and always piping hot. Just when you think you couldn't eat no more, you will be tempted by the various assortment of homemade cakes, muffins, and shortbread as well. If you drop into the Vineyards shops do pop in, you won't be disappointed 😊

Met my friend here for a catch up & would highly recommend, lots of choice on the menu & good prices. It was lovely just a shame weather wasnt good enough to sit at the outside tables .

Always NICE and cosy place to come with my little girl. We even have our little table at the Back :) ladies, who work here are always very nice and always have a minute to chat with the customers. Food is tasty and fresh and always ample of fresh cakes available to eat in or take away home. This is our little haven when we dont have to drive miles to town centre and have this lovely place available two minutes drive from home. Me and my 4 yr old have made it as a little tradition to come here for lunch on Thursdays when I’m off work. Always happy to support local businesses ❤️

My husband and I have breakfast in the Glasshouse every Monday & Friday. It's the best breakfast in the Chelmsford area, in our opinion.The ingredients are cooked to perfection, clean fresh and locally sourced. The staff are very friendly and food is reasonably priced. Would highly recommend.

We use the glass house reasonably regularly for lunch. The food is always tasty and reasonably priced. Things to recommend include: delicious chips and excellent freshly made cakes. The service is always great too.
