We visited today for the 2nd time. The staff were lovely, very welcoming when we arrived, the food was fantastic and staff were amazing. We had a party of 14 and all of us had a lovely time from the moment we arrived to the moment we left, staff were very helpful and accommodating to last minute changes. We will most definitely be returning in the New Year, thank you for making our Boxing day a happy one!

Food really amazing with a fantastic kids menu. As well as really tasty main courses they had dairy free ice cream for my son and veg sticks for my daughter. Inside is beautiful, very spacious, clean and family friendly. But the best part was our lovely waitress Angie...so friendly, helpful and full of good recommendations 😊 Thank you for a lovely afternoon.

Went here for a birthday meal for a family member, reserving a table in advance. In our party were 3 children, 2 years and under, and we were pleased to be seated in a cordoned off area. The service was wonderful, our server was friendly and happy to oblige to our long list of orders and changes, as well as working around the kids. I wish I'd got his name as I could give him a mention. The food came in good time and whilst everyone raved about there's, my steak was a little overcooked, but not enough to send it back (plus dealing with the kids, I just needed to eat it!) and the number of burnt ends topping my chips was very low, especially in comparison to my brother-in-law who did the same and had them falling all over his plate off the chips. The kids did wander off at times and staff we're very accommodating, I just hope no guests were put out by my 18 month old disappearing from time to time. Would definitely consider going back.

The food is always good. Drinks are always good, the biggest thing letting you down is the service. Everytime I come in here even when it's quiet the wait for drinks/food is too long. I came in for lunch the other day and there was 2 tables in the pub and it still took 30 mins to get our food. Drinks orders often take a good 20 mins to arrive at the table from when they are ordered too. It's such a shame, we would visit alot more often if the service was quicker.

Visited here today for the first time...How amazing. Can not fault this restaurant, we will be visiting again. We were made to feel welcome and served promptly with drinks etc. The waiting on staff were very friendly and gave lots of information and recommendations for the menu which is always nice. They know their stuff. The interior is beautiful and to a high standard. The food was sensational and the presentation was beautiful and yet it was the most divine in comfort food. Just what I needed and more. We only called because we needed somewhere to eat fast after my hospital apt ran over. Also we are still on our honeymoon week after getting married last Saturday. I also work at the local Hospital next door and I will be sure to recommend this restaurant to all my colleagues. For all those giving a negative review on here just because it isn't a hungry horse and the decor doesn't suit you...Shame on you. at least give a constructive critique based on food,service and taste. If regular standard hungry horse pub food is what you're after drive there and leave the rest of us with a little bit more diversity in food culture and taste to enjoy the pleasurable delight in everything this restaurant has to offer. OUTSTANDING, lovely setting, warm and cosy, menu is not massive but it's isn't small either, it has enough food to cater for just about anyone and is of the size where the chefs can perfect dishes which really shows as the food is very tasty, food is plated up perfectly and portion sizes are amazing, staff are some of the most genuine people you will meet which really adds to the overall impression of the restaurant. Forgot to add the price, very reasonable prices for the quality of the food and service, if you are hungry and passing by I would defiantly without a shadow of a doubt recommend this place. Thanks again to all the staff who helped make it's a wonderful meal.

This is my local restaurant. It is such a refreshing change from the previous Hungry Horse pub. The food and drinks quality and selection is very good. The staff are exceptional! We’ve had several good meals here. It’s not gourmet but it’s high quality and good value. We will keep on going there. It’s great for kids too!
