We like to try new restaurants and today we tried Olive and feta and we are so glad we did ..2 courses for £14.99 I had baby squid and turkish fajitas with lamb steak chicken and veg my husband had turkish sausage and then the turkish mixed grill we also got complementary warm turkish bread and herby garlic butter...from start to finish the food was superb the service was excellent and the portion sizes large! We will certainly be back Thank you!
We eat at this place a lot, but tonight was by far the best! It was my birthday and the owner went out of his way to get me a dessert they didn’t have on the menu- they went to the co op and purchased it and served it. The customer service is fantastic, prices are very reasonable because the food is delicious! We will definitely return again and are very grateful for the brilliant customer service received!
Takeaway
We ordered from Olive & Feta because I’d finished late from work and couldn’t be bothered to cook. Once again, fabulous food, cooked and packaged with a discount. O&F at home. Brilliant.
Best bottomless brunch by far! Food and drinks were fantastic 😋
All the food we had was very nice! We had the Calamaris and the Cheesy Peppers for starters and for mains Iskender Kebab and The Chicken and Halloumi Gyros. Would definitely recommend this restaurant and we will
definitely will be back soon.
Food was great!
Fresh complementary bread puffed up was so tasty.
Starters Lahmacun and Sigar boreki...
Tap water comes in such a lovely bottle
Lovely place to eat. Portions were huge and the service was really quick. Could have done with 10 minutes between courses as we felt a little rushed and needed a bit of time to let the first course digest (large portions for starter and main) Service was quick and staff were really pleasant
Not overtly cheap but reasonable enough. Lovely food and the one lady working as a waitress did fantastically well to say she was quite rushed. It was pretty busy for a Monday evening too, especially by 7ish when we were finishing up and leaving. Would probably come again. Ambiance was nice, albeit one idiot was being quite rude and demanding like a whiney spoilt baby behind us, which is even more testimony to how wonderfully well the sole waitress did. Only criticism was when we asked for our chicken to be containered to take home, my wife was unable to finish this, it didn't seem as much was in the container as was left on the plate but hey ho, I'll take that if that's the only complaint. They may not have had any bigger containers or something. Highly recommend the lamb shank. So tender.
Food was nice (not amazing) but unfortunately the service wasn't great. One young waitress in particular was pushy for us to hurry ordering, hurry eating and for us to leave. We had booked a table for 8pm. We all thought she was quite rude. We went a few years back and had a lovely experience, but afraid I wouldn't hurry back.
I never leave a feedback online normally but that Moroccon spicy lamb was amazing. I loved the lady who served us today!! (Cubra) She was so helpful and staff was lively in general. We will definitely come back again.
Great food and drink. We had the two Meze dishes, the hot and cold, they were great.
We are pescatarian so being Turkish there is of course lots of meat on the menu, especially lamb. That said there is sea bass, pizza and vegetable kebab available.
I think it is good value for money, though not a cheap option. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the food.
Olive and Feta is a strange place. The food is fresh and very nice. The portion sizes are absolutely ample. The staff are always incredibly warm and friendly. Yet you can always get a table.
Don't get me wrong, the drinks prices are more than a little steep, the image of a fire on a beach burning away on the wall is less than refreshing in the middle of a heatwave. It certainly felt like it was an island summer in there (sans the breeze)
What I'm saying is I'm hardly an ambassador for the place. But it's good food at affordable prices and service with a smile. So I hope business picks up and it truly finds its feet as a staple of the farsley community.
The duck paté is a personal favourite of mine and the lobster ravioli is always entirely delicious.
Looking forward to our next visit. Although perhaps on a cooler day. I would love to see a summer lunch meze style menu there!
This was our 1st ever visit to this place and we called in for lunch. Lovely warm, chic and comfortable restaurant over two levels with friendly staff. The clean toilets are upstairs but I think you would struggle with a wheelchair user due to layout of entrance doors and with loos being upstairs. There isn't a car park but there is plenty of on road parking around.
We both just had a main course but we were served a lovely piece of Turkish bread to nibble on. My husband had Adana Skewer - £13.50, which was
minced lamb with onions, herbs and a touch of chilli chargrilled on a skewer, served with rice and salad. I had the Moroccan Spicy Lamb - £14.95,
juicy lamb cutlets smothered in a special sauce made with crème fraiche,
lime, spices, a touch of chilli and a dash of Malibu. I was offered any one of the sides to go with it and chose the salad. We both loved it and I ordered more of the bread to mop up my sauce which was too good to leave. With cokes and a hot drink each the bill came to £38. Not cheap for lunch but we felt it was worth it. The photos are of the actual food we were served.
