Best afternoon tea in Lincoln, anyone visiting should definitely head for this place. Always best to book as they only have a small number of tables, but can cater for 14 I think is the maximum. Today 12 of us had afternoon tea all I can say is WOW the amount of sandwiches, smoked salmon and cream cheese, ham, and cheese and pickle, warm quiches, cheese and also fruit scones served with jam and clotted cream, then came a platter of fantastic homemade cakes. We all took doggie bags home with us. The ladies that serve are lovely and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommend this tearoom for quality and definitely value for money.

Had a treat afternoon tea from my friend today. It was absolutely fabulous. Probably the best cream tea I have ever had. We had one of the huts in the back which was just perfect. The sandwiches and cakes was absolutely gorgeous. Everything homemade. I can’t recommend The Sanctuary enough. Well done for all your hardwork , you deserve all the success that comes your way. Well this place is great. Firstly the tea. It was perfect. It’s shocking how often places can get a cup of tea wrong. This was a pot for one and it was perfect! The lil garden out the back is great, there is cover if necessary and the shop is cram bang full of all sorts of interesting pretty little things to look at. I had the salad and it was huge as you can see and very very enjoyable. I really recommend this place. Thank you x

I thought this fab cafe was a shop! But it's both, we walked in and it smelled so good, they sell Maison Berger room fragrance lamps and that is what we could smell, the lady that served us was so friendly and knowledgeable about the products that I bought one. The iced coffee was great and the cake to die for!
