Nice place, manager served us and he was very kind with suggestions on what to get.
I preferred getting the curries over the chef specials as they were saucier and matched better with the rice/naans. The rice portions are huge and was nice to see compared to other Nepalese/indian restaurants that give a much smaller portion.
Overall decent experience!

We ordered the momos, lamb chops and nepali crispy chicken. The chicken was juicy and full of flavour.
The lamb chops were a disappointment, it didn’t have the usual charred flavour and it was a bit grainy rather than tender texture. The momos is a must order just because it’s an authentic starter to order.
For the mains we ordered lamb kahari, fish balti and kantipur methi.
My favourite was the lamb kahari, full of flavour and the lamb was tender. My least favourite is the kantipir methi, it’s quite pricey for what you get, not much meat in it and the flavour was lacking.
I did also enjoy the fish balti as the fish pieces were still in tact, whereas some places make it like all mushy and just not as great. Generous portions of rice too, the garlic naan was fluffy and fresh.

Went in on Friday dinner time without an appointment. Wasn’t busy till 7ish. Lovely service and authentic food. We had chicken and seafood curry, highly recommend the seafood curry and the stir fried rice. Mango lassi is about £6 but come in a huge jar so very reasonable price overall. The guy who served us just very caring and polite to us.

I have only eaten in the restaurant a couple of times as I usually order food for delivery.
It is always prompt and excellent quality food. The portions are massive and a main + rice + starter each will stretch for two meals each, which explains the fact it is a little more expensive than its peers.

Amazing Indian cuisine. The food was mildly spicy yet maintained authenticity. Ambiance is lovely with a great service. I wouldn't mind visiting again.

I was there yesterday for my friend's birthday. Thought give my friends a little bit of taste of Nepal. It was my first time there too so i was nervous for both sides. But it turned out to be great. The food was great. The service was great and staffs were friendly. Had a really great time.

Ate here with a colleague and it was a wonderful experience. Proper Nepali momos to start followed by main courses of flavoursome, generous cooking. The dishes were not overwhelmed with clumsy spicing but were balanced, subtle and delicious.
Staff were friendly and attentive; the atmosphere was great.
What a gem of a place. I'll definitely return.

The staff at Namaste Nepal restaurant provided exceptional service, with attentive and friendly waitstaff who ensured a delightful dining experience, complemented by delicious authentic Nepalese cuisine that left a lasting impression; highly recommended for anyone seeking a taste of Nepal's culinary delights Will come back soon

Another Burton Road establishment, and one of the two Nepalese curry houses competing for attention locally (the other being the Great Kathmandu). To be clear, both are fantastic, and I've never had a bad experience at either, but Namaste's always felt a little bit more "up market"?
Not in the sense of pricing, both are very reasonable, excellent value for money, with a delicious selection of regional specialities, plus all the regular curry styles one used to find down the curry mile. Maybe it's just the decor. In any case, if you're in the mood for curry, this is a solid choice!
At the time of writing, their online menu is, annoyingly, a broken link but the "order online" section of their site looks similar to the menu we ordered from in-house. Personally, I would recommend the Namaste Kofta Makhanwala, with Paratha and rice!

Love the Nepalese food here, The lamb chhoila was awesome, the taste took me back to Nepal. ♥️ Best Nepali Restaurant in Manchester

Love the saag paneer! Everthing is seasoned delicately. We ordered Namaste special Naan which is the best Naan ever! Masala Lamb is soft and tender, very spicy, we love it. Staff is vety friendly. The place is suitable for family and kids.

Good food and good humour! Although it was a busy Friday night, we were served in good time. Everything - chicken Karahi, Korma, spinach dish - was copious and beyond tasty. Looking forward to our next visit!

I am a regular at this restaurant, it's my go to place for authentic Nepalese food. The extensive menu includes lots of options for meat, fish & vegetarian dishes & there is also a good choice of drinks available from the bar (including draft beers). There is always a pleasant atmosphere at this restaurant with a courteous & friendly management/staff team. The restaurant has just undergone a stylish refurbishment with a bright new decor.

Food was great, gave it 4 stars instead of 3 because they had halal options, well-seasoned, service was good, but over all it was kind of over-priced, the main jalfrezi was 10.5 but came without rice, costed another 2/3 quid for rice, which wasn't too bad tbf. There were 4 us and they bought out pappadum's for us (2 small ones each) and it cost 14 quid for that, thought that was a rip off considering other places it either comes complementary or significantly cheaper, I asked why it was priced so high and they claimed it was as it came with the 4 small sauces and the little mini cup of chopped onions, still not worth 14 quid for just pappadum's... Mango lassi was only 2.95 but the cup was extremely small. Went on a Sunday night so parking was easy to find nearby.

Really recommend this place as "somewhere different".
Amusingly told a waiter that we picked the place based on good reviews, and he said ignore the internet reviews... but anyway!
Good portions, good taste, loved everything we picked (lamb was great in all the different things) and will be back for more. Go Nepalese with the menu, you won't be disappointed.

Very flavoursome and catering to customers. Interior is very eye catching and the management are extremely involved in service so be the best possible satisfaction is provided to the customers. Maybe a more explanatory menu that tempted me towards Nepalese food would get you 5*

Wir essen immer wieder im Nemaste Nepal - am liebsten die Buttersauce a la Makhanwala.

My no1 Indian restaurant. Nowhere on the curry mile compares to the standard of food that they serve in Namaste. I think I've had most of the curries on the menu. I especially love the crisp naan bread and the tandoori chicken Karahi cooked on the bone. Please try the momo! Nowhere else does them! The popadoms are lovely and the lime pickle is so smooth

Best food for anyone who loves Indian (Nepalese) food.
Great service, good portions. I have been many, many times. Mind you it's only 10 minute walk for me.

What a warm and friendly staff team and the food is second to none one of the nicest places I've eaten at and will return again and again

Fragrant comfort food that made twelve people very happy.

It's not easy serving twelve people a multitude of dishes with attention to detail to the highest degree. Namaste delivers every time on every level. The highly individual Nepalese food must surely be some of the best in the North West. The atmosphere is discreetly laid back and friendly without being overpowering. The staff are excellent.

Without doubt one of our favourite restaurants.

Haven’t visited the Namaste for some time. Had a large group of visitors up from Essex and they wanted an ‘Indian’ close to where they were staying in West Didsbury.

The meal was really good with a wide variety of tastes and diets well catered for. Ample portions and a very helpful staff to guide each of the guests through the extensive and well organised menu.

Great price at just over 200 for 10 people including a fair amount of beer and wine.

Well pleased with this restaurant and happy to return again soon.

Amazingly delicious food. Ordered Kantipur Methi on managers recommendation and really impressed with the taste, presentation and portion of the food. Overall the food and hospitality were too great. We will be definately visiting again.

This is by far the best curry house in Manchester- great service, value and delicious food- a real gem. This restaurant is far superior to it's better known local rivals. Go- you won't be disappointed
