A surprisingly nice restaurant literally around the corner from the Palace Theatre and therefore doing a good trade in pre-show meals. The menu was really good and very good price. The food was definitely nice and we were very happily full by the end. The service mostly very good and food arrived speedily.
On the negative, one order was forgotten and had to be found. I also didn't like the Italian manager telling me service wasn't included in the bill and directly asking me if I would like to add service and how much. I said none because I found this a bit rude. Had he pointed out service isn't included and handed me the machine to add as I wish anonymously I would undoubtedly have added a tip. I strongly suggest this approach. British people don't like to bullied into leaving tips. Either add it already or hand us the machine to do ourselves. Don't demand to know how much we will give.
Had it not been for that, I would have given five stars.

In my opinion, this place has one of the best pasta in town!
Food taste great with good portion. More importantly, they all come in at perfect temperature. If its meant to be hot, its hot.
The service is good too. However, the atmosphere could be slightly noisy.

Hidden little gem! Espectacular food! We tried the pasta diavola and its to die for, the calzone is also really good as well as tiramisu and cheesecake. The staff was very friendly! We will definitely return 😊

The food is delicious and they have a choice of a starter and a main course for £24 if I remember correctly. The best thing was the attention from the staff and from Davide who was very friendly and willing to help us with everything. we will definitely be back 🫶🏼

This place is INCREDIBLE! Me and my mom love Italian so thought we’d give this place a go as the reviews looked good and WOW!
The best Italian food I’ve ever had. I had the brunette and then knocci and my mom had the prawn cocktail and then chicken and mushrooms in white wine sauce.
The staff were extremely friendly and authentically Italian which made the atmosphere even better.
There’s an option for a pre-theatre meal which is 2 courses for £23 which is great value! Gladly we booked because even at 6pm it was absolutely rammed in there!
The glass of wine was a little bit more expensive than I anticipated, however city prices and city prices!
All in all, highly recommend this place!!!

What an absolute little gem of a place!
The food here was amazing! We ate off the pre theatre menu. The portions were huge!
I have marked the service down to a 3 star due to the waiter who seated my family and I.
When making the reservation I stated it was for rhe pre theatre menu. When my mother asked for the pre theatre menu he rolled his eyes and stormed off to get the menus. Then when taking drinks he completely ignored my mother and left her out.
Thankfully somebody else took over from him.
It didn't ruin the overall atmosphere.
I will definitely eat here again!

Loved the staff here, very attentive with the added bonus of the owner lending me reading glasses when he saw me squinting at the menu 😂
I had olives and bread as my starter, husband went for tomato bruschetta - both portions were huge and delicious!
I had seafood risotto which I really enjoyed (plenty of mussels, calamari and prawns) whereas himself had penne mafiosa (please excuse my spelling there) that he wasn't enthused about - some of the pasta was burnt and he said the sauce tasted cheap with too many mushrooms which over powered the other flavours.
So with so many other Italian restaurants to choose from, we probably wouldn't go back.

Bad fro start to finish .. asked the waitress, do the prawns 🍤 come in there shells No ! But they did and had no tast at all Looked good though!
I eat prawns around the world The most tasteless I’ve had and there cooked in garlic !!
My son asked for a margarita pizza good with chicken on The waitress again got it wrong No chicken
She listened to nothing we said This was yesterday 2nd of August at 12 lunch .
On the board was lobster and shrimp ravioli! No cheese ravioli ( terrible ) with a cream sauce with shrimp and lobster in it .. oh and the card machine does not connect so paid cash But a waitress who listens to nothing you say and we were the only customer in the place So no stress Poor food Worse service

Called in for a pre-concert meal with a friend and had a two course meal. Food was very nice and staff polite but waitress made a mistake with wine order and my friend's rib eye steak was very fatty which was disappointing.
Food was reasonably priced.

Excellent food and wine at decent prices with exemplary service - can't find any reason not to recommend

I ordered a takeaway for lunch. I had Spaghetti aglio olio, which is surprisingly rare in the Italian restaurants here. I especially visited this place to have that. It was really well made, with good balance of spice and garlic and the sprinkle of parmesan cheese added to the flavour. The waiter was very courteous. Wil definitely visit again.
