Lovely venue, with plenty of seating and a private boardroom where you can book a team meeting and enjoy a drink whilst discussing business matters.
There is also quite a large amount of books on the shelves, making this café very suitable for someone wishing to come and read, or work on their laptop whilst enjoying food/drinks here.
My friend and I had a latte and a cappuccino.
Reason for not giving it 5* was because I felt that my latte size was quite small, although it was supposed to be a medium... aside from that, I'd definitely recommend this place!

This is my new favourite place in Manchester! Recently discovered it by chance. Fabulous espresso (and I'm very particular), great service and THE best chicken salad that I've ever had! I'm recommending it to all of my friends and colleagues. I hope they don't sell out of "my" chicken salad now, though, as it's my favourite lunch!

Good addition to the city centre coffee scene. Well flavoured coffee served in a smart and convivial atmosphere.

Hipster cafe, they have good sandwiches and latte art is on point.

The coffee here is amazing and the decor is fantastic. My only complaint is that we went in here on a fairly cold day and it was freezing. We both had to keep our coats on and hug our coffees to keep warm. It'll be fins in the summer and I'm sure they'll have it sorted for next winter.

Best oat milk cappuccino in Manchester... until you stopped using Oatly.
Have been getting my afternoon coffee from you for months but now you're using a really horrible oat milk instead of the good stuff and I'm sad to say I've had to start going elsewhere for my fix. I know other customers have complained too but it seems to have fallen on deaf ears. Such a shame because there is such a lovely vibe there and the staff are all great! Hope I can come back one day.

Some of the best coffee in Manchester (and London!). There's lots of 1 star reviews about the time it took for customers to receive their coffee - I imagine these negative folks are used to Starbucks / Costa / Nero speedily dishing out boiling hot, poorly made, burnt coffee in a cup the size of a pint glass.

Good Speciality Coffee downtown of Manchester.

Lovely place and great coffee !

My favourite name for any coffee shop anywhere. And the coffee is really good too. Only deducted one star as I had to wait 10mins for my coffee, but don't let that put you off.

I ducked into this place to seek shelter from a storm and immediately the atomsphere put me at ease. The sound of hardbop jazz slowly filled me with ease and as a third wave coffee enthusiast, Department is a diamond in the rough. The best coffee in manchester is poured in this establishment. Variety and complexity are there forte with single estate beans from the esteemed and yirgacheffe region and cantelope islands are available on batch. What a treat. The baristas, Loui and Dale are the epitome of professionals and their coffee knowledge unmatched.
If you thought Manchester is stale for coffee, go here! Best coffee, best service, best music.

One of the best cafe in Manchester... rarely do I give 5 stars , but this cafe deserves it. Also, I had one of the best naps there and they did not disturb me and I thank them fir that.

Great coffee, and lovely club environment with meeting rooms space. Quiet enough to do some productive client work, but enough people to keep it lively and interesting.
