The hotel is stunning. The apartments are massive and clean. The only complaint I have is the heat of the apartment. It was a million degrees without any kind of heating source being on. No way could you sleep at night. Air conditioning is definitely needed in the rooms.

Would recommend. Lovely rooms, comfy beds and beautiful inside. Really good location less than a 5minute walk from Piccadilly station. Went for a hen party and they decorated the room for us too and left party bags. Check out was 11 so didnt feel too early the next day. Everywhere was nice and clean. Cutlery and crockery were a bit sparse in our apartment but wasn't a problem and you could easily ask for more if needed.

Attending training event. Room is small but has character and is functional. Location is great and staff are polite and attentive. Buffet lunch a little on the posh side for me but it was fine. I heard the trainer say the rooms were reasonably well kitted out but can't comment on cost.

A wonderful example of a modern hotel. I stayed here two nights for a training course and could quite happily have stayed longer. I had no issues whatsoever with noise, which is odd given how many people that was an issue for according to these reviews. The exterior and interior views were both lovely, and the stag were very helpful.

I attended a work event in the downstairs function room at The Place Apart'hotel.
The hotel is well located, just five minutes from both Piccadilly station and Piccadilly Gardens, so couldn't be easier to get to.
The function room that we had was big. Staff were attentive but discrete, topping up water and table supplies quietly. Lunch was good quality and there was plenty of it, albeit a slightly odd assortment / grouping of food.
Can't comment on hotel rooms, as stayed elsewhere overnight.

Mixed feelings about this place after a midweek stay last week. I was given a complimentary upgrade to a penthouse room, which indeed was an incredible room (two double rooms, two bathrooms, two balconies and a large kitchen/living area).
However, the feeling of luxury unfortunately wore off as I found that the toilets were dirty and the toilet seat up. Had a good nights sleep and given the free upgrade I cant complain too much, but just wish the lack of cleanliness hadnt put a dent what I hoped would be an excellent stay.

Wonderful venue. Had our wedding here, staff were polite and friendly. Food was wonderful, all the guests commented on it. Venue is lovely and we all in all had an amazing day without a hitch. Lyndsey the events coordinator was a pleasure to deal with :) 10/10

I went to a conference here and have to admit I was pleasantly surprised. The room was large and clean, the food was amazing, for a buffet it was top class! The staff were helpful and cheerful and there was a essence of pride from everyone there. I really do recommend The Place, thank you for such a great time.

Nice apartment hotel and very comfortable. Only complaint about the place is that it can get a little noisy and rooms do not block out sound from the outside very well. The main hallway is very echoey and can be noisy at night. Friendly staff and very good service. Apartments has everything needed in them including dish washer cookers and cooking appliances.

We held our wedding reception at The Place in April 2013 and from our first meeting with Jade, the service that we experienced was outstanding. We were organising our wedding from abroad and Jade's prompt and comprehensive replies to emails and willingness to meet when we were in Manchester made the organisation process much smoother!
Several of our (foreign) wedding guests booked apartments in The Place too and the staff were very accommodating of our many awkward requests, providing extra glasses, crockery and cutlery for family reunions. Even when I (the groom) caught Jade 2 days before the wedding in the lobby on her way home, she was happy to stop and chat with a smile.
The day went exactly to plan thanks to Jade and Alfie's help and all our guests agreed that the food was excellent. We chose The Place for its character and fantastic location which made logistics easier, and everyone was impressed by the great architecture inside. The wedding package which we booked was very flexible too which was exactly what we were looking for.
We also stayed in one of the penthouse suites on the top floor and were delighted to find a thoughtful surprise in the room on the wedding night. The views from the penthouses are really amazing too. The other apartments that our family stayed in were also great and the couple of maintenance issues that they reported were dealt with very promptly.
Breakfast the next morning was also very good and good value, and when we had a query over our bill on check-out it was well-managed by the reception staff.
The overall experience was just perfect and we cannot recommend The Place highly enough as a wedding venue or as a place to stay in Manchester. The staff, and Jade in particular, really made our wedding a day to remember in this special venue. Thank you!

Stayed here with our Carol, irene & Erin. Lovely rooms with everything you could think of including the kitchen sink, dish washer, oven, washing machine & dryer! Everything you could need is provided. It's absolutely beautiful.
I would totally recommend "The Place" as I am planning to stay again.

Great use of space in the rooms with a design in keeping with Manchesters heritage. The lovely internal courtyard gives an outdoor almost streetside feel to the front of the apartment. We had a great time here - The cleaning staff in the morning are pretty keen though so don't count on a lie in past check out!

We stayed in suite 704 in bonfire night and both balconies made for fantastic views!
The apartment was very clean and well presented in a brilliant location. Could not fault the staff or facilities either.

Really great location in Manchester easy walking to Piccadilly Station (3 mins). The room was massive compared to a standard hotel. If you're used to staying in standard hotel rooms, this is a real treat with its own living room. Personally I didn't use any of the space but it's more like coming back to a holiday home than a bedroom and the same price too.

Attended an event with my wife and son. The facilities were excellent. They put on a great selection of hot food and drinks. The location is ideal with access to the main train station and plenty of parking situated near by

Great apartment very spacious. Quite pricey (but it is NYE). Oven a bit rubbish but works eventually. All other appliances Bosch. Great location. Nice staff. Recommend.

Great Resturant<br/><br/>Just had a three course meal at the Place restaurant and it was a very enjoyable experience .All three courses were very tasty and the food seemed excellent quality and very well presented. The staff were all very friendly and professional .<br/><br/>All in all excellent and well worth a visit,we also used a Hi Life card which made it great value for money.
