Excellent burgers and really efficient service. Our server was very positive and congratulated us on our choice of food - a nice choice. Food was much better than run of the mill pub grub. We will be back!

Lovely, relaxing atmosphere in this beautifully decorated modern town centre pub/restaurant. Staff are very friendly, polite and attentive, great table service and food perfectly cooked and well presented. Prices reasonable too, couldn’t fault anything! Will definitely be returning soon.

Our waiter was really nice and offered his suggestions for both food and wine. Service was quick, and food was amazing! Will definitely recommend. Only down comment was there seemed to be lots of little flies in the area we were sat in but other than that, we had a great lunch!

We stayed for one night and booked the family suite for a couple, plus added the english breakfast option. We were happy with the room size and would recommend spending the extra money if you are in need of more space. The location is great and central to everything in town. We ate dinner & breakfast at the restaurant and thought that the food was delicious. The service was friendly and Michael was wonderful! Plus on Friday nights there is live music and the performer was very enjoyable.

Today they started a new menu. You have to try it, bc it is amazing. Had the Hot Honey Buttermilk Chicken Burger and it was huge! Properly tasty and I couldn't even wait to take a photo before I tucked in. Cannot rate it highly enough. 100% the best chicken burger I've had. Fact.

Very nice coaching house / hotel. The room was spacious, clean and nicely furnitures with a VERY comfortable bed. The staff were friendly helpful, polite and professional. We ate dinner there which was very good and breakfast was equally good. There is a little bit of street noise in the rooms owing to overlooking a High Street but I had a good night’s sleep and would definitely stay there again. Strongly recommended.

Food was great! Do not expect an Italian pizza. However, pizza here was great for British standards: fresh pizza dough and creative toppings. The waiters could have shown up more often but when they came up to us they were very professional. Overall we had a very nice experience. The restaurant's room are very cool, interior designing is on point. Crème Brulée was great!

This was the most quante inn me and my wife have every stayed at. The rooms were amazing. The food was outstanding and the pub below was a huge perk but what really makes this place wonderful is the staff. Ollie was our bell hop, server and bartender. He really made us feel at home and was very knowledgeable about newbury and the inn. He was a warm bright face as soon as you stepped in. He made the experience magical. He deserves a big promotion. Thank you to all the staff. We will definitely be staying here again.
