Easily one of the best burgers I've ever had along with impeccable service, would easily recommend to anyone and plan to come more! Updated Pandemic Review: Easily the best place I've gone to eat and support in these tough weird times. The staff are friendly and wear masks, food came fast and was plentiful, and things were clearly spaced. Happy to see this place reopened and hope it continues on because this venue is amazing. And if you do decide to come, try the boozy butterbeer. While the idea of butterbeer was made by a terf who writes bad wizard fanfic, the boozy butterbeer cocktail is top notch.

A thoroughly good experience. The food was good quality fare - sticky, glutinous and delicious, though the pulled pork burger could have been a little larger. The drinks range was good, but the real selling point was the remarkable service quality. Smiling, courteous, helpful people all around.

Fantastic. I've lived in newcastle nearly 3 years now and this is the best burger I've had by a country mile. Service was exceptional, attentive but not pushy. Is definitely my go to burger place now 👍

Nice, cozy pub/restaurant. Great selection of beers and some tasteful choices for meal. Staff was warm and helpful! I would happily visit again and recommend it against any Weatherspoon.

Hidden gem. Loved the deco and the food. Very nice staff and atmosphere. Will definitely go back. The background music was also great. Good "DJ" :)

TL;DR: 5/5 Beers 5/5 dirty pit food! :) Been here multiple times. Really nice beer selection that changes regularly. I've eaten here once and had a really dirty burger with cheese and bacon (and an extra patty). The bar staff are knowledgeable and happy to help. The food service was a little slow BUT in a good way as I would attribute that it was being freshly cooked as when served it was superb. I'm curious to return for a Sunday dinner in future.

Burgers were brilliant! One of the best. I had the 'brown' burger. Would definitely get it again. Disco fries also very tasty. Macaroni cheese was nice. Would have been 5 stars but the milkshakes were a let down unfortunately, quite watery and not worth the money.

Great food and fantastic service. Our waitress was great with our orders and a right laugh too. Great interior design. One of the best parts was watching many of the older generation walk in to realise the premises is no longer The Northumberland Arms and have an incredibly bemused look on their faces, yet still order some fancy pants beer.

Lovely food and drinks! Love going back here each month to try their monthly burgers! Visited a few times since lockdown and still love the venue. Staff take good care of you and I hope I always have this place to come back to for my treat/date night!

Perfect place for decent food and amazing cocktails right off Northumberland Street!! Popped in here on Saturday night for a few drinks to celebrate my engagement. Lush interior, service is great with friendly staff and the cocktails are unreal. Highly recommend the Apricot Brandy Sours. Was so impressed on Saturday decided to pop in again today for lunch with a few friends. Had the OSO burger and it did not disappoint. Every detail has been so well thought you can tell a lot of work has gone into it. Already planning my next visit!!
