Managed to hit happy hour and get buy one get one free on the wine. Nice atmosphere and decorations. Can imagine this being a really good local, if only I drank more/ had friends. Friendly bar staff, nachos were nice.
Had our engagement party here in the room upstairs. The room is lovely and a bit quirky as opposed to just hitting the local social club. The staff were really helpful with everything and you can just plug a phone/iPod in the sound system for the night. Would definately go back for an event.
Burgers and pizza were amazing. 2 for 1 on doubles or cocktails. Cosy atmosphere and is close to student accommodation. Savings for students too.
I've never had bad food here, the service is really great, the staff all chatty and lovely. It's quiet at lunch time but in the evenings can get quite busy. On saturday nights they have a live singer who is brilliant and it just makes the atmosphere.
This place has the best ribs I've ever had, you get really large portions for the price and they have a separate price for students which I think is great. The cocktails here are amazing and are very reasonably priced, especially compared to other establishments. The staff here are extremely friendly and helpful and it's a lovely environment inside.

Christmas night out for a group of 8 colleagues. What a fantastic place, never been before, will deffo be back. Loved the drinks, the food, the atmosphere & the staff. Lovely friendly bunch of staff whom couldn’t do enough for us. Complimentary Prosecco for delayed food was very welcome although not necessary as kept us up to date regularly & we were having a ball enjoying your 241 wine whilst waiting. The food was lovely & great value for money. Can’t wait to come back, thanks for a great evening.
Visited last Saturday for a friend’s birthday, based in the function room upstairs, a great space for small private events. Service was brilliant with the barman boylun serving some of the best gins I've tasted. Food was great too!
I absolutely love this place. Confused by other reviews which say there is a poor choice of drinks as there is a full back bar, a 6-7 page cocktail menu and largers, ciders and IPA’s on draught. Although it can be studenty, I bring my Mam and family here all the time and also held my best friends baby shower in their function room upstairs and everyone loved it. The staff are also super friendly and the food is fab and reasonably priced too :)
Great quirky bar with loads of student offers. Had a meal with my girlfriend and the menu was great for a bar, I was a big fan of the Pigster Burger. There is a huge back bar with hundreds of gins, whiskeys, vodkas and rums to choose from and a menu of at least 40 unique cocktails, and they serve all the classics too. I had a spot on old fashioned served by friendly staff, made how I like it. Perfect place for post work pints and students, as they do 241 every day from 4-7 pm, with Budvar on draft.
