really like this pub and its in a great location. buzzing atmosphere but on the expensive side
This is a very classy looking pub, but is remarkably reasonably priced. Real ales sold for around £4-£5 and always a great little selection. The interior is very nice, with a high standard of decor throughout. The staff are friendly and happy to talk through the ale selections.

Very good pub on Grey Street Newcastle. Six cask ales on handpump when I last visited including an oatmeal stout. A few tables outside at the front. Busy, but not impossibly so, before the Spurs game at St James' Park.
One of our favourites in the city centre. Large spacious and reasonable drink prices. Good selection of craft beers as well.
Nice roomy bar with plenty seating, no tv's or loud music so you can enjoy a conversation. Never waited long for seevice at the bar.
Called in on a Tuesday afternoon. Not too busy! I know its a great pub and can get really lively. Choice of drinks very good.
Great beer's, lively atmosphere and very friendly and polite bar staff, would highly recommend this place, we'll be back ASAP.
Nice little bar on Grey Street. Seemed to be popular amongst the older generation on my vist, but nicely decorated and lovely staff.
Not been into the bar for a while. Great selection of ale’s which were well kept and poured. Now that I know they have a great selection of proper ale’s I will definitely be back. Friendly staff. The fire alarm brought thing’s to premature end 😳😉Nice pint of Jarl
Always a great atmosphere here, match days are electric but it's a great place to be on a Monday too
Lovely bar, very relaxed and friendly vibe. Seems more for the older crowd 35+
