A few friends and I went for dinner and it was fab! Staff were so lovely and the food was great! Very fast service! Easily the nicest Chinese meal iv had in a long time! Cannot recommend this place enough!

WE had a great experience here. Arrive at 5:30 (opening time) on a Tuesday night because we had the kids. The place already had a few people in it, and it got quite busy. They gave us free prawn crackers for the table, and We ordered a few starters and mains to share between us all, the food was excellent. The staff were all really friendly, and great with the kids. Parking nearby is reasonable and only charged till 6pm. All and all I'm one satisfied customer and I will be back and recommend to others. Thank you for a great meal and time gosforth palace.
Good food, large restaurant, nice atmosphere. Staff were very attentive. Big selection on the menu with the option of banquets if multiple people dining. High chairs available for kids but no baby change that I could see. The restaurant is upstairs and there is a stair lift but wouldn't be suitable for buggys.
Interior is modern and comfortable with good use of celling hanging semi transparent dividers to increase a feeling of privacy whilst still being in the nice bustling atmosphere of a restaurant full of happy customers.
Staff were very quick and very attentive at all times. All good was of a high quality without having to hide everything in over powering sauces. High quality meat and will be back if I'm in the area.
An exceptional restaurant with welcoming staff and really top class food. Amazing tropical fish tank at the entrance. Has a stair lift. Screening between tables is so tasteful and jn character and adds to the ambiance.
Try the lemon chicken.
Always wanted to try here and wish we had sooner its a proper hidden little gem right on out doorstep. Food is outstanding and the service is second to none. Absolutely stunning 😍

We got the veggie sweet corn soup, salt n pepper beancurd (tofu), and black bean shredded veggie beef (mushroom)
The sweet corn soup was a good consistency and wasn't overly salty
The beancurd was a perfect amount of crunch with a soft centre
The mushroom was an amazing texture that reminded me of crispy beef- really nailed this; however would've preferred more sauce
The only negative for me would be the subtle flavours, but that's because I personally prefer stronger flavours
