This is a small closed roof market where you can find local bakers, Indian foods, local coffee vendors, apparel and jewellery counters. Best place to spend some time in a vibrant place with food enthusiasts...do visit this place. Double yolk eggs are also available. Rest room available. It is adjacent to Victoria arcade. If you like my review pl don't forget to like it.

A hidden gem in Newcastle. A vibrant market full of independant traders. The atmosphere is old school but wonderful. Great range of produce and best value. Get your food including veg, meat and household items here and support small business.

It is one of the most interesting and authentic attractions in this city to me. Locating in the city centre and opening from Monday to Friday, you can access here without any difficulty. As a Grade I listed building built in 1835, you will have strong traidtional and nostalgia feelings from its architecture. According to Newcastle Government website, there are over 100 small businesses and self employed independent traders. For example, there are shops selling meat, fish, plantations, clothings and even health products. Besides, you can also find Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Indian street food and even hand craft beer here. Thanks for the great work of frontline staff, the environment is clean, neat and tidy. I really enjoy the atmosphere of local community and supporting small business. Highly recommended!

The staff who managed my booking, Ashley, was very diligent in following up with an arrival time slots re-arrangement when we were running behind. When we arrived we were promotly and swiftly arranged the private ride. We were fortunate to have Ben as our punter, as he was very knowledgeable and has the history of Cambridge at his finger tips. He was humourously peotic and a little theatrical when he described the finer details of each college's glorious pasts & presents. Thoroughly enjoyed the high quality ride. Will choose Scholars next time again for sure.

Large historic market in the middle of Newcastle. Beautiful building. A large variety of stalls, shops and produce on sell from food to clothes to pet supplies. Lots of places to grab a bite to eat or a cup of tea or coffee. Visited twice, on a Saturday and Monday, and was bustling both times

Great place to pop in for a look around. There's a lot of good places to grab a bite to eat and various other independent retailers too. It's a bit of a shame the revamp has been at the cost of some of the older stalls and shops in there but it's still a great historic gem right in the centre of Newcastle. Even better when it's raining.

Haven't been to the Grainger Market for years but thoroughly enjoyed my recent visit. Long established businesses combined with new enterprise food outlets make for a fascinating wonder through a beautiful building As a small child I remember my mother paying a penny to be weighed and the Weigh House is still there! A glorious piece of local history. Highly recommended!

The Grainger Market in Newcastle is an absolute gem! From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with a vibrant atmosphere and a treasure trove of goods. The market is a perfect blend of history and modernity, with its stunning architecture and a wide array of stalls offering everything from fresh produce to unique crafts. One of the highlights has to be the diverse food options. Whether you're craving international flavors or traditional British dishes, you'll find it all here. The quality and freshness of the produce are top-notch, making it a food lover's paradise. What truly sets Grainger Market apart is the sense of community. The friendly vendors are always eager to share their knowledge and passion for their products. It's not just a place to shop; it's an experience that immerses you in the heart of Newcastle's culture. I highly recommend visiting the Grainger Market for a delightful day of shopping, eating, and exploring. It's a testament to the city's rich heritage and the vibrant spirit of its people. A 5-star must-visit destination in Newcastle!
