I came last year and was not impressed so was not in a hurry to return. But was given a voucher for Christmas. We came yesterday and asked a member of staff what they recommended and she asked our tastes and gave us a few things to order from.
We had their garlic bread sharer to start and a Sofia pizza to share ! The garlic bread pizza was the best garlic bread i have ever tasted in my life �� we was very impressed. When waiting for our main. The manger came over and advised the first pizza that came out was to small and the second was burn so it’s on the way but we will not be charged ( to be honest we didn’t even think we were waiting that long ) but was pleasantly surprised with the service � when the pizza did arrive it was worth the wait . We ended up saving some to take home so we could order desert . The deserts were chocolate brownie and melt in the middle pudding again both were amazing ! We then were given a 40% of voucher code for signing up to their emails. So our bill was so little !

Lovely meal and it was nice that I could order a smaller portion without any fuss I'm always put off if I get a huge meal dumped in front of me Have to say it was the best Spag bol I've tasted Will deffo go again also pleasant helpful staff and nice atmosphere Many Thanks

Very tasty food, especially the Rustica with the 'Nduja.
Lovely food really enjoyed it .❤ They didn't have full availability was really looking forward to the 5 cheese starter more than anything but they had run out . So I suggest maybe ring ahead to see what the menu availability is if you had a certain dish in mind. Only 3 tables with customers on so it was very quiet. All in all a very enjoyable meal out. Would def visit again x
Very nice actually! I haven’t been for a while but I went yesterday and the food was honestly really nice, staff was really friendly, great prices and it was very clean I am definitely going to come back more often. Also pig plus you could see the pizza oven👍 very well done!

I like Zizzi restaurants in general, but this one was special because the food was very tasty, and the service was excellent. So in just a weekend spent in Newport I managed to come to this restaurant thrice, both on my own and with a friend. And I will come again, provided my life will bring me to Newport.
Eating out when you have allergies and/or coeliac disease isn't easy but our server James was really helpful and took the time to make sure he got everything right. Food was good and it was great that there were even desserts suitable for coeliacs and those with milk allergy.
Today me and my friends came to zizi to try it out for the first time. The food was extremely nice and overall a nice environment. However, the problem started when we received our check. As there was a quiet few of us we spent over £100. That was fine for use until our check came and one of our bills was £14 for service charge. I understand time to time there might be some fees in. Restaurants however we were never told about this. I just think it would be better to let your customers know about fees like this especially as there were a lot of us!
Service was really excellent here and the atmosphere very good and that was down to the team who were serving. Food was nice but not spectacular
