Authentic taste Have been here twice, services and taste remained consistently good. Surely recommend this place to those who would like to explore Indian food. This place allows you to pre order for take away as well eat in which might help reduce the waiting time. The resto does need some extra care and possibly refurbishment which is in pipeline I'm told. Service was good, cheerful staff despite how busy they were. Huge place with seating capacity for more than 50 people. They do have a bar. Menu is quite reasonably priced. Can't believe how underrated this place is.

Absolutely loved it! Were so surprised how few customers there were considering how much we enjoyed the food and fabulous service. Delicious gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options available and clearly labelled. All dishes were authentic, flavourful and presented wonderfully. The staff were lovely and very friendly, making the evening perfect. Thank you so much!

A wonderful meal. A great treat to have almost everything on the menu gluten free. The food was beautiful, such wonderful flavours. Prepared for your personal taste. As we will medium it was all prepared that way but if you like it hot, no problems, they will do that for you. Wonderful, helpful staff. Will worth a visit.

The food is of a high standard. It's all about the taste isn't it or why do we bother. I believe it is family run business, very friendly. The restaurant is clean, the decor could do with a slight updating. The food tastes more authentic than the regular Indian food that we are all used to, would recommend this restaurant and takeaway.

Tasty buffet at the Malabar held once a month. Go up as many times as you want. All the meat and veggie options were really good and a little pud too which was a cardamom flavoured rice pudding.

Authentic, mostly south Indian dishes. The food is very tasty and just the right amount of heat. I would definitely come here again. If you will have a chance, try their buffer which they do once a month. I think on last Saturday of the month when you can try many of their delicious dishes

We went to the cafe on Onam Day. There was an special veg meal for the occasion. The food was quite good. Would like to try their regular food on a normal day.

The food is authentic and feels very much like cooked at home. It's very fresh ingredients used all the time and you can just feel it from the aroma and taste. The masala tea is a real treat to tea lovers. It's a family run business and the couple who owns the place are friendly and lovely hosts.

I thoroughly enjoyed a very good lamb curry; excellent spicing. Very different vegetable curries (who knew cabbage thorna would be so good!) Nice choice of fish dishes. Authentic south Indian food with lovely flavours and friendly staff. Well worth a visit.
