Very Happy that The Last is back! We just had amazing food and excellent service and atmosphere. Scallops and venison starter followed by fillet of beef shin pie and halibut main, best food we’ve eaten at The Last. We will be back with our friends too .

It ticks all the boxes. Dog 🐕🐶 friendly, attentive and friendly staff. Excellent food. Reasonably priced. I can certainly recommend the place, under new management. Well worth a visit.

We had a simply delightful dinner at The Last today. From the moment we stepped through the door, the service was absolutely impeccable - the staff were friendly, attentive and made us feel welcome throughout our entire meal.
The food was equally impressive. We started with a delicious twice baked cheese soufflé, which was beautifully light and full of flavor. For mains, the fillet of beef was both exquisitely prepared and presented. The beef was cooked to perfection! To finish, the blood orange and buttermilk pudding was a refreshing and indulgent end to the meal.
The overall dining environment at The Last was excellent as well. The restaurant has a lovely, intimate atmosphere that feels both sophisticated and comfortable.
We will definitely be returning!

Dined at The Last on the 30/3/24 and it was a first class experience from beginning to end. The dining room is warm, inviting and well appointed, the menus are varied and the dishes we had that evening were well thought out, well crafted and cooked to perfection by the kitchen team. The front of house team were exceptional and personable which contributed greatly toward a dining experience that was relaxed, enjoyable and a pleasure to be a part of throughout. On a final note, the drinks list is extensive and regardless of preference there is something within to suit all tastes.

We had booked The Last Bar for an early dinner after the Norwich Wine Week festival. The service was attentive and friendly from arrival and the menu was packed with innovative and delicious looking dishes. The wine menu was extensive with a selection of unique bottles, we opted for a delightful Orange wine from Austria.
A small plate of complimentary bread, and oil for dipping was provided after we had ordered. The bread was fresh, and had hints of garlic and herbs. A very tasty olive oil accompanied for dipping.
Our party chose starters of the Buratta with pesto and mixed leaves and a dish of the Sweetbreads. Both were delicate and well balanced while being extremely moorish. For mains we chose a Confit duck leg, sea bass, and the shallot Tart Tatin. Everyone raved about the quality of the main courses, accompanied with fries and a side order of the smoked new potatoes. If we were to return to Norwich, The Last would be a place to return with excellent quality food and wonderful service.

Had an amazing Sunday lunch here. Very rarely go for three courses but the menu had so many delicious sounding dishes we just had to go for it. Starters we went for were so tasty. Can highly recommend the Ox cheek doughnut! The beef main has to be one of the Sunday lunches I've had out. The meat was cooked to perfection accompanied by some sizable roast potatoes, heritage carrots, savoy and red cabbage and cauliflower cheese to die for! At this point Sunday lunch out is normally over but the desserts called out. "The Last" blood orange cheese cake with pistachio ice-cream and flacked almonds was so tasty. Then we come to the cheese board of locally sourced cheeses with biscuits. The gap between courses could have been a little quicker but gave time to prepare for the next but for a busy Sunday, great company and a delight on the taste buds I'll let that go.

I just got home from having a lovely meal at the Last Wine bar. The service was excellent as always. Really friendly serving staff. The food was amazing. It seems to get better every time we visit.
The portion sizes are good for the price and the food is beautifully presented.
There was a special of venison which I had for my main course and it was amazing.
It is the only restaurant I know that when trying food I can use a statement like "Oh my god these carrots are amazing!"
I don't know how they do it but everything is perfectly cook with so much flavour.
It is worth booking if you want to visit as they are always really busy.
