Had a delightful birthday meal at this pub. Between myself and my partner we had the parfait and chicken tenders to start and then the steak burger and beef roast for main. The food was some of the best pub food I have eaten, would highly recommend. Was extremely friendly and accommodating to our dog that we brought along, giving him lots of pets and had a water bowl available. Cocktails were nice. The only downside was that drinks service was slow even though they were not very busy. Overall, could not recommend this pub more! Will be back again if ever in the area.

Eaten here a few times now with my family, food has never disappointed, have had the best roast dinner quite possibly in and around Norfolk so far! Good quality food! The staff are absolutely faultless, accommodating, kind and just overall lovely people! Such a friendly family atmosphere and even though our 1yr old had a slight tantrum the staff just let her play about and interacted with her, we couldn’t be more thankful! The owners should be extremely proud of such a respectful, professional and comfortable establishment they have! 100% will always come back here!

Fantastic experience from start to finish. They were busy, but it didn't stop them from serving us. Good food takes time to prepare and if you don't mind the wait, you won't be disappointed. We asked our server for recommendations as it was our first visit and chose accordingly. You can't go wrong with a burger, gammon steak or salad but we were definitely in for a surprise - these were not your average dishes. The decor is more upmarket than some of the local places, the seating oh so comfy and the ladies bathroom caters for the modern woman - "a basket of woman" with just about everything she'll need to freshen up. Normally when you ask for the manager, everyone gets worried but tonight was just compliments, no complaints!!

Sunday lunch here was very tasty. We had the beef. Generous portions. Had to enquire about horseradish sauce and mustard. Would have been nice if they came with a spoon! Toilets were spotless. Would have happily ditched the sage and pork stuffing that came with the beef for roast parsnips but that's my personal preference! We will return as would like to try the steak dishes

First time trying this place after our usual place was a disappointment last time, however, this meal was immense. Atmosphere, decor, staff friendliness, food etc are all amazing. A really beautiful place that makes you feel a little bit special for being there. Unfortunately the price is too much for us to eat regularly there, but for a special occasion - this will be our new go to.

Absolutely in love with this place. Visited several times for a Sunday roast and I have never been disappointed! Service is fantastic, very friendly and accommodating. Food is exquisite and prepared to perfection, flavours all work wonderfully together, a masterpiece! I highly recommend the scotch egg starter, it truly is delicious! So far have only experienced the roasts for main, but each and every time it has been just as good as the last, very consistent. The apple crumble is the best I have ever had! Prices are reasonable and fair too.
