Lovely fish and chips and scampi and chips.
Very tasty and beautifully presented.
Staff are excellent, friendly and pleasant.
Open 4 to 8 Thursday to Saturdays
Visited on a Friday and got a takeaway. Polite and fast service, they were very busy which shows you that the food is good quality. Prices reasonable and the resteraunt looked fully booked. Parking out front was fully used so ended up on the road which wasn't an issue as the road is only a 30.
So glad there was a little gem like this in the village whilst staying at Easton guest house awesome food excellent customer service friendly staff and very relaxed atmosphere 10 out 10 made my stay worthwhile.
Really friendly staff...I had the scampi and chips with side salad followed by pineapple fritter, cream and ice cream...
The food was piping hot just as it should ...
Would definitely go there again
This is the best fish an chip restaurant it's fresh quality of fish cooked to order is of high standards no stodgy batter here! Lovely new potato chips an mushy peas! Worth every penny. The staff are friendly an helpful an chatty everywhere is clean it's well worth eating in can see why they are busy. We will deffinetly be going again.
Absolutely one of the best fish and chips I've ever tasted, and the restaurant was lovely too. Service was great, even though they were busy we still didn't wait long, very welcoming and polite staff. It's definitely a must visit.
Really great fish and chips whether you eat in or take out. Always busy so must be a good sign.
If you fancy a pint the pop into the bar at the side and order a basket meal, also great quality fish and chips.
Well worthy of 5 stars.
A warm and friendly place with great fish and chips. You can take away, have a proper sit down fish and chip supper in the comfy rsstaurant, or have smaller snacks etc. in the equally comfy bar. The batter is super crunchy and fish really well cooked, chips are lovely and I have discovered the mushy pea fritter! Ooh, and the background music is good too, if you enjoy the sixties and fifties, which I do! It does get super busy at the weekends, so if you're really keen I would book if you can and don't expect really really speedy service (although they do go as fast as they can and it's a pleasant place to be so you don't notice a little wait!)
After living in Costessey for several years and not knowing this place was on our doorstep, we found this little jewel after seeing awards for fish and chip shops.
A very short drive from the west of Norwich passed the Showground and The Rembrandt is easy to find with a large car park out front.
We used the takeaway service here, the restaurant looks nice and cozy, hopefully we'll get to sample that another time.
The order area can be a little confusing if it's busy in regards to noticing who if waiting for their food and who is waiting to order, but trust me when I say it's worth the patience.
I'm not a fan of anaemic chips and this place does chips just right; not all white and undercooked, but a nice golden brown on the outside with the perfect amount of grease.
After just the one visit, I can only comment on their cod, chips, battered sausage and curry sauce. The fish is not massive when ordering a large tail cod, but the lightness of the batter and freshness of it makes the price more than justified. The curry sauce is not all watery that you get in many other places and is not loaded with sultanas, it's just lovely.
There is a good selection of pizzas for anyone in the family that aren't lovers of fish.
This place is definitely worth a visit and to top it off, they do take card payments over £10.00, which is rather easy to reach with two people ordering.
