Had a lunchtime meeting with 3 friends, arriving at 12. On entry bar staff acknowledged me and took me through to the table they were seated at. Very friendly and helpful lady.
We sat chatting for a while. Table we chose was perfect for space around us (wheelchair) and easy to get around.
Menus provided which offer enormous amount of choices. Light bites. Full main menu and sharing platters. Given plenty of time to choose as order and payment taken at the bar.
Food arrived in good time as restaurant was not busy. Piping hot and all of us had a delicious meal. Prices are very reasonable and portions were a good size.
This restaurant is always busy and has not been redecorated in years. A lick of paint and new carpet would lift the decor 100%.

We tend to take the kids up for a play while we have a few drinks. As the racecourse is very local to us, easy to get to and the only family pub around for miles and miles. Been going for years, and nice to see a change to the drinks on tap. Also nice atmosphere when we visited as they had a live solo artist. Not much takers but nice to have that in the background. Service could be a little better, but I guess that's what you get for having lots of younger staff. We had cheesy chips for the kids. Don't think the menu has changed over the years, and the last buffet Sunday roast we had was pretty standard. No thrills, but you can load your plate. Highly recommended if you have a family and friends you want to entertain.

Had a lovely meal, staff where helpful and friendly. Have been here a few times now. Good for disabled people, brilliant for children as have outside play area. Can get very busy at certain times. Definitely worth a visit
I took my daughters for the princess breakfast, they had a wonderful time and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating. They were the guinea pigs for this event and, despite some bad choices by the people in offices with little concept of how best to organise a mass scale breakfast (buffet would have been perfect btw), the staff were great! The entertainment was great, my girls loved the characters, singing and dancing then soft play.
Good carvery near us. The quality of the food is average but not bad for what you pay for! The service is great. The place itself is big and tends to be full on weekends. It can be a bit crowded and noisy. However I would go back again because of price and how much you get per serving.
1st time visit with friends and absolutely amazing experience carvery was excellent, food outstanding, service excellent. I highly recommend a visit and definitely get a carvery worth it with nice freshly cooked food , desserts are really nice I recommend the Eton mess and double chocolate brownie with ice cream
The food is awesome, and so are the staff. And on 2 occasions (Karens) have done what karens do. They scam for either free meal or demand money back, the table next to us both times 🤣. I feel for the staff who have to put up with stupid people like them. We love coming for our great food, plenty of disabled spaces. To the manager and staff 10 stars 👍.
