Great restaurant for sunday roast! The atmosphere was cozy and chill and it’s family & kids friendly restaurant. We saw many guests were having their family gathering. Love the badger painting and decoration in the restaurant too.
I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The food was not just delicious but also beautifully presented, making it a feast for both the taste buds and the eyes. The stunning interior decor added a touch of elegance to the dining ambiance, and the comfortable seating made our meal even more enjoyable.
What truly stood out was the fantastic staff - they were incredibly friendly, attentive, and accommodating. Their warm and welcoming service added a personal touch to the dining experience. To top it off, the fact that they are dog-friendly was a major plus. We could bring our furry friend along, and the staff made sure he felt just as welcome as we did.
Overall, it was a delightful experience, and I can't wait to return to this restaurant. It's a perfect place for a great meal in a beautiful setting with top-notch service, and the fact that it's dog-friendly is the cherry on top!
We visited The Fat Badger for the first time today and it was delicious. Our host, Natasha, was super friendly and looked after us well. We'll definitely be back!
We went here on a Saturday and what a lovely start to the day it was, we had an amazing brunch (the crispy potatoes were some of the best I have ever had) with bloody mary’s. The decor inside is great and a bit different which is exactly what we like.
We were helped by Isaiah which was very helpful and were able to accommodate all our requests.
We had a family dinner at Fat Badger. The atmosphere is great as is decor and service. Staff is very attentive and do they very best to accommodate you. The food looks amazing however the execution is not 5 stars. Burger for example is very dry and the bun was hard to bite. Also prices on the high side hence expectation is for food to be excellent.
Love their passion for creating delicious yet sustainable, locally sourced and seasonal dishes. We tired the limited edition coronation menu, 5 dishes for £38 which was extremely reasonable for the quality and quantity of food we got. The restaurant is cute and cosy, perfect for a relaxed eat or birthday lunch.
I gave 4 stars for the following… the staff didn’t offer the coronation menu, I had to ask for it. Which was a shame for everyone else, as a lot of customers were looking over at every dish we received, while they all had their traditional roasts. Also we received a traditional roast with gravy when it was meant to be served with Chimichurri. And service was a little slow for each dish that was brought out and actually waited the longest for our dessert, the one dish that didn’t require any cooking.
Such a hidden gem in Richmond, the service is great and the food is scrumptious. We had the Sunday roasts and they were very good with big portions!
The service and food was outstanding. They adapted and created a tasting menu for us and the chef came out for most courses to explain the menu, the wine pairing worked well. Everything was very tasty and well presented. Very happy!
Visited for Sunday brunch today, 10/7/22 and it was fantastic. Staff were lovely and efficient and it’s a really nice venue. Not sure why it isn’t busier! The brunch was brilliant. I’d definitely recommend the mushroom marmite eclairs - they’re addictive! Will definitely return.
Our server seemed pretty new but was very polite and definitely hard working.
Food was great. Even the kids portion of the roast dinner is a lot of food.
All meals were good quality. The go to is the roast dinner but for smaller bites the trout and pasta were both good.
