Starbucks

Visited with my husband and a friend, we actually visited twice, before and after shopping. The drinks were really well made and followed the instructions well (special diets). Staff were lovely, building was clean and tidy, one visit to the bathroom found that there was no paper, I asked the staff and straight away I was given another roll. Have visited a few times before and almost always have had a brilliant experience (one wasn't but that was dealt with at the time and won't affect this review). We will be back again.

Typically the chain store drinks & foods variants. Service is good, prices have gone through the roof with this organisation, with increased prices that aren't justified by any improved quality. However, they are on top with variation, constantly offering new concoctions of frappucinos, & flavours. Starbucks are known for often announcing 'Paper cups only' due to short staff, so no mugs available, or because the dish washer had 'broken down' I've observed this at many of their branches as a former ardent fan, I find this quite insulting, with the price of their beverages! This particular branch doesn't carry much of a vibe, like some of the other branches. It might be subliminal, that one feels rushed, with it being a drive through, as well as a sit in. No comfortable seating, giving the impression, they aren't wanting customers to stay too long. Starbucks, in the early days (UK), used to be an 'experience ' where one could sit comfortably, have a beverage of choice, maybe food from a less extensive menu than now, but a good one. It's engaging atmosphere presented opportunities to have a breather, read a book, pull out your laptop. A more personable engagement with staff was prevalent. Come on Starbucks! Lower your prices. Vintage Starbucks was the best!

I like Starbucks coffee and this was my first visit to this particular Starbucks. I had my elderly mother in a wheelchair with me. First delight, I was able to park right outside. The location of this cafe means there is ample parking, if not necessarily accessible. A member of staff came to help me open the door which I thought was nice. There was ample space to manoeuvre the wheelchair inside and the chair easily went under the table without mum having to take her feet off the footrests. (This is all in contrast to a nearby Costa where I have difficulty with a wheelchair). Coffee was good, ginger biscuits nice. It wasn't busy and we could hear ourselves talk. Will be calling again. Update, December 2022, sadly without mum now but otherwise not much has changed. Coffee still good and parking plentiful. Nice for folk to be able to bring their dog in and the puppachino (is that what it's called😊) was well received!

I walked into this shop whilst having really hard day. When lady barista asked what I want, first thing I said was “a hug” without thinking much. She advised me on new menu, did great job on suggesting diary-free options and drink was really like a hug in a cup. But what melt me inside was that another Lady Barista, who made my drink, came out from behind the counter, handed me a drink, free cake, coffee voucher and gave me a hug. It was simply beautiful, and I’m tearing up again when I write this. Thank you Mikaela, you and your Team mates made my day so much better ♥️
