Fantastic fish and chips in a bland atmosphere, food is incredibly fresh and cooked to order, even the small is a lot of food.

I frequently visited Mike's when I worked in Southampton 10 years ago because the fish was so good. Returning now, it's even better than I remembered! Very thin, crispy batter, not oily at all, generous portions and not overcooked. Good chips. Very clean and friendly service. The salad on the table next to ours looked freshly made and very good too. Will try that next time.

Standard Fish and Chips shop, they were busy at the time so food wasn't out super quick, but the quality was as expected. Fish was very good, portion size was large. Chips could have been cooked a bit longer as they were slightly mushy.
