It delivers what it promises. A lovely little café indeed.
The service was attentive and the breakfast one of the better I've had. The portion size is just right.
I've added this to my places to stop when out and about. Most definitely worth the small detour off the A326.

Went with my parents for their steak night (Wednesday) and it was delicious! Fantastic cuts and cooked exactly how you like, and all the sides and sauces were great too. The staff were all friendly and great to chat too, special shout-out to Nicole, who was our main server, couldn't have asked for more! Also their Covid measures in place were great, with markings on the floor and spaced out tables, all staff in face coverings or masks, spot on!
So far it's been great, they have a good selection of pastries, sausage rolls (vegan option) selection of donuts, belgian buns and shortbread etc. I've tried the chicken and chorizo pasty and Belgian bun all very nice and reasonably priced. Service is quick and efficient.
Early days but a good start long may it continue.
We selected "The Lovely Little Cafe" on a personal recommendation to provide a finger buffer for a gathering of family and friends following a funeral and were very pleased with both the quality and selection of food and the service. Martin was extremely helpful and flexibly from start to finish, the food was very tasty, it was delivered to the house exactly as arranged and cost was very competitive. Would certainly use again and would be confident to recommend them to friends.

Family run cafe with many breakfast and lunch options for reasonable prices. Many locals come here at least once a week. Both food and coffee are pretty decent. Quick and chatty staff that cracks a joke or two during your stay. Great looking cafe. Just the front refrigerated display with fuzzy drinks on the top doesn't look as good.
This is exactly what it says over the door, a lovely little cafe..... with the very best of English hospitality and service.... should be visited by anyone wanting an up beat experience and great food. Thank you girls for a fantastic veggie breakfast in a clean and cheerful, welcoming environment. I wish you well with this business, you deserve success. I'll be back.
We had a great take away for a lock down celebration evening. Hot food was delivered hot... it was all really delicious, plentiful servings and enjoyed by the whole family. Great value for money... Thank you Lovely little cafe for an evening we will remember and repeat..🍽🍽😁😁🥂🥂
Took my wife, daughter and four grandsons for breakfast. The staff were so helpful as one of the children has a multiple food allergy. The breakfasts chosen were varied but all arrived at the same time, cooked to perfection and great value for money.I was really impressed and will definetly be going back. Top marks all around.
A very popular cafe. Great food and friendly staff. Everything is cooked to order so there can be a bit of a wait. It's nice to see a local business thriving. This cafe has been so popular it has extended into the unit next door to provide extra seating. A small car park outside serving several shops so at busy times spaces may not always be available.
