La Mexicana

Amazing. Absolutely incredible. Only ever had Mexigo delivered but the food always comes hot and the portion sizes are the best. Highly recommend the shredded beef burrito. I literally drive from Manchester for these burritos (and I guess I see my girlfriend as well in Southampton while I'm down that way).

We walked in and were welcomed straight away by a lovely lady named Jo. We were after a light bite and Jo recommended the “Taquitos” which were incredible!! The food was made to order which was a lovely touch and meant it was piping hot when it arrived to the table. I can’t recommend this place enough and I’ve only come in for a snack. I’ll be back for certain to try their whole menu!

100% the best Mexican food in Southampton. Every filling option is loaded with flavour and the salsa is properly made. The staff are also amazing, so friendly and welcoming; they even go so far as to ring you if something you've ordered via Deliveroo has run out - in my case, their cheese dip (which is seriously one of the best dips I've ever had) and they offered to send me a brownie instead. Have I not mentioned their brownies?? The salted caramel filled one will literally blow your mind. Amazing food, amazing flavours, amazing staff, amazing service - you won't be disappointed if you eat here.

Good price for the amount of food you get. The staff are really nice. I had a beef burrito which was nice but was quite sweet for my taste. The tortilla chips were nice and came with a sour cream dip. All in all, really nice and would return! (I forgot to take a picture of the inside but the one of the burrito wrapped shows the size)

Lovely Mexican place with fantastic food and really friendly staff. Portions are great value for money. Just wish they didn't charge £0.75 for guacamole and other toppings in the burritos as they should already come as part of the contents naturally. Also Jarritos drinks are sold here so didn't have to go to Mexico/ California for them.
