This review is for Martin, in the tech department. Kept the laptops within our budget, friendly, calm and knowledgeable on everything I asked about. Can't recommend him enough.
Carlos in the TV department was first class. Great knowledge and delivered a very friendly service.
Sarah in Clarins concession was also extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Both a credit to John Lewis.
I visited on 25.6.23 with my mum to spend some birthday vouchers. A great range of brands and good selection of clothes within each. Sales were on too so some great prices. Not too busy and plenty of space in fitting rooms. Helpful and friendly staff.
Special mention to the lovely lady in the lingerie fitting rooms (sadly I didn’t get her name). She took one look at me and said she thought I had the wrong size bras to try on. She told me what she thought I needed and she was so right! She then got me lots of sale bras in that size to try and kept checking in that I was ok and checking the fit for me. Such a personal and helpful service. Overall a wonderful experience and I will definitely return to this store again.
Visited today for a bra and I tried on two particular styles in my size - or what I thought was my size - and the woman who must have been insanely busy gave me so much time and some good advice when trying on a different size but in one of the styles I had tried.
I'm not fussed with getting my kit off when I need to and I was very doubtful when she, Nicky, suggested a new size but I haven't been that comfortable in a bra in a long time. Unfortunately another size to try wasn't in stock but based on advice when trying on this strapless bra, I've come home and ordered two sizes to try. What a star! Nothing was a trouble for any of the ladies working today, but Nicky was the one who stopped and helped when I was not at all sure what to look for. Lovely lady, very patient and asked all the right questions for me.
Visiting Southampton again for the weekend from Essex and thought I’d start Christmas shopping in John Lewis. A really nice young lad called Bradley helped me choose the best items on offer and was really friendly towards me. He really knows his stuff and you guys have a diamond of an employee there.
After stopping in John Lewis today I was a bit lost on how to find a item I was looking for and a nice chap I think his name was Bradley helped me out and showed me where to go and just before leaving he showed me how to sign up to get a members card so I could get special offers on my next purchase amazing lad everyone there was so kind to me best experience 10/10
Five stars given for in store customer service . Two recent visits .. second visit with missing online order issue .. staff were absolutely lovely and very helpful . Issues were not a problem and were resolved very quickly . I have not experienced such polite and helpful service in a long time … Thankyou
Comprehensive, luxury offering in a modern, well-laid out store, served by very polite staff. There’s a Waitrose and cafe too!
After finding out John Lewis were dog friendly. We decided to take Pepper (our Irish setter) for her first shopping trip. She got LOTS of fuss and cuddles from staff and lot of attention. She was definitely spoiled by the ladies at the experience desk! Pepper had a great first shop experience. Thank you to all the staff in your west quay store :)
