I’ve been here about 10 times now always spur of the moment ( I love my sausage and chips )and travel the country in my job, and this chip shop is not the best I’ve ever come across but very very good for portion size and value for money ten out of ten , service is really good there on it like sonic , useing the proper fish and chip boxes I really like it here , and I read the other reviews I think there really unfair , if I have bad food or service I’m the first to kick off but I been here 10 times not one mistake or bad food perfect every time

First time using this shop and I'm impressed. Cod cooked perfectly. Chip portions are huge. Even the bread roll was perfectly fresh. All delivered by a nice gent in 35 minutes. Cash accepted on delivery. As Arnie said, I'll be back!!!

Portions are really big even when you take medium cod with normal size chips. Kids menu is available too and it's big :)

I come from Netley and there is a chip shop in Netley but Golden fish bar is always my choice always fresh Juicy fish and the chips are perfect love this place, best fish and chips in Southampton I highly recommend this place

Decent fish and chips, but the fish could do with being cooked a tiny bit less and the chips a little more. Staff are really friendly. Waiting area is freezing when it's cold outside.
