I live in Wells and we are blessed with many great Cafe's and restaurants. But the Market Place Café is definitely the best coffee in Wells. Also great breakfasts! Oh, and Ice Creams in the summer!

Good experience! Wide range of snacks, even veggie/ vegan/ gluten free choices. Soup for starters, pot of tea,jacket potatoe, loads of salad, choice of cakes and a tasty coffee for less than £ 20 a head? Winner!

My wife's Twin sister has been before so she took us in for a cup of tea 🍵🫖 and a Coffee ☕☕. We also had some of Their Delicious Scrummy Cakes 🎂🥧🍮🧁. Two of which were Gluten-free. We really enjoyed ourselves 😁😁. And what we had. The staff have really got what they do off to a T. Very Professional and Friendly. Thank you very much. We Will be back next time we are in Wells. 4 of us went here on market day for a hot drink and a bite to eat. The lady was very welcoming and friendly as soon as we came to the door, asking us to fill in track and trace. I had a hot chocolate with cream, marshmallows and chocolate sprinkling, which was very rich and chocolatey. I had a full English, fried egg was perfect and dippy, sausage and bacon was nice and meaty and good quality, beans in a little pot to prevent them from tainting the egg. Highly recommended, would definitely go again if we find ourselves in Wells in the future!
