A fantastic establishment, far superior to that of 'Betty's tearooms' , better service (friendlier staff), better food and cakes!! If you have the opportunity to visit you won't be disappointed, if you don't go then you won't know what you've missed....... such a shame if that happens. This is what I put last visit, and I've just been in again and it is no different, fantastic consistency.
What a fantastic bakery! The window display were amazing and the food on offer all looked incredible. We ordered a lemon drizzle, bakewell, toffee and date rascal and Curd tart. The lemon drizzle was very tasty and had a nice texture. The bakewell slice tasted amazing. The curd tarts were a little disappointing, as they were over baked and the pastry was rather thick. But, the toffee and date rascal was sensational, the best rascal I've ever tasted! Definitely worth going for the rascal and other products.
We had coffee and tea cakes. The tea cakes were massive, but very tasty. Good value for money. It is a nice bakery

We nipped in here to purchase some filled stotties before embarking on our Robin Hood's Bay to Whitby walk. Great sized portion, great value for money and super tasty! We'll definitely be back!

My favourite Whitby bakery - the shop presentation is always amazing and the food on offer is incredible. All the cake, biscuits and treats I have tried over the years have been amazing.
Excellent bakery products served here. Don't be put off by the "tired looking " tea room. The scones are superb!
