Had a hilarious fun evening on Sunday. The singer/guitarist was fantastic, Ill upload his duelling banjos...Mandy and the team were so friendly and up for fun. The bouncer was the best ever..

We have only been in the pub twice. Enjoyed both visits. Thought it was a good place. Have to say though the bloke that was in charge on the first visit was easier to talk and we enjoyed talking to him. The bloke in there last Thursday wasn't as chatty

We only stayed here for 1 drink as we were short on time but we really enjoyed the atmosphere and the live music. The staff were nice and friendly too

Amusing & charming bar staff. The live musician (on Sunday) was absolutely amazing. Pity they have an 8pm curfew for children; we'd have stayed most of the night.

Popped in for a drink on Saturday afternoon. The two barmen were hilarious and we had a right laugh with them. Great selection of drinks and reasonably priced. Some great retro music was also being played whilst we were in there. We will be back for sure. 😬👍

We had a 2 night stay on silver Street and this was the nearest pub , we brought my mother in law who is 86 , the landlord and landlady made us so welcome , the staff behind the bar was so friendly and so was the locals, there was an excellent 60s vocalist playing and we all had a great night , the landlady welcomed us back for the next night which again we so enjoyed it was a quiz night we didn't win but received free drinks for coming second from last , two great nights , we thank you so much , see you soon 😀

Lovely pub with a lovely atmosphere, we went in last night for a drink but because they had a fantastic singer on, we ended spending the whole night in there, definitely recommend this bar and we will return the next time we visit Whitby.

BRILLIANT PUB !!!!
This is by far the best pub in whitby, we go 4 times a year and always have the best time , the best atmosphere and the best staff…. And! They don’t allow dogs after 8 pm , great idea! Poor pooches should not be in a busy loud environment getting stood on …. And not everyone is a dog lover ….Entertainment always brilliant, Mandy and Andrew sure do know how to run a pub! A must visit if you haven’t been. Can not wait for our next visit

Its as cosy as you could make it within the current guidelines. The staff are as friendly and attentive as you could wish for. The beer whilst a little pricey is top quality (of which i am happy to pay a premium for a properly looked after and pulled pint). No need to book just turn up and see if there is a space available. We will certainly return for a pint the next time we are in Whitby.
