We've been regular customers here since the 1990s, and now we're 'grown up' and have children we still enjoy spending time. The food is reasonably priced and of good quality and the staff are great. And, mostly, the clientele are of good character. Occasionally, just occasionally, the customers at the bar can be a little sweary, which can be a bit alarming when you've got young kids with you. But that's a quibble, it's a great pub, you should go.
I came to your 90's night, it was quite fun and great company. The bar staff are so lovely and caring towards me and my family throughout our evening. I would truly recommend this pub to anyone
First time visitor to The Court Oak, received a friendly welcome when came in. The lady serving on the bar was friendly, and checked if had parked so can validate the parking. I did not not need to, but nice that would be a reminder if did.
I did not have to wait to be served at the bar, the drink was served quickly, nice and cold and with a smile.
It is deceptively spacious inside, with lots of areas to sit and relax. All of the tables were clean and tidy. Spotted they have Franks Red Hot sauce on the tables - have not seen that out before in a Sizzling - definitely a bonus for the spice fans. I will have to come for dinner sometime!
Look forward to returning!
Fantastic pub. Food was freshly cooked and excellent. Staff was pleasant and friendly. Great food and atmosphere for any locals or if you're passing through the area as we were definitely worth stopping for food and drinks. Remember to put your car reg in to validate parking.
A good local family pub. Service is very good, and drinks a fair price.
Breakfasts are very good value and tasty, burgers decent, but the Sunday Roast is very poor compared to others in the area (out of items and not told, just left off the plate, raw potatoes etc)
I would strongly recommend the breakfasts and grills, but for a Sunday lunch wander elsewhere
Had a very happy celebration get together with 20 people Sunday lunchtime. Welcome drinks in the beautiful garden expertly poured for us by the manager Yvonne, strawberries in Prosecco a wonderful summer touch. Delicious meals followed, and we were very well looked after by staff even with a very busy normal trade going on alongside. Staff all friendly and professional. Nothing too much trouble. Highly recommended venue ❤️
A lovely meal out with friends. My first time at the Court Oak. We were warmly greeted by Thelma, who served us throughout in a friendly and professional manner. The menu was extensive, and our food was very tasty. My husband made several changes to the menu which to his great surprise they got completely right, this is not his usual experience. All in all a good evening out.
Court Oak hosted my sister-in-laws Celebration of Life/wake for us, what a lovely pub this is, nothing was too much trouble, food was lovely very friendly staff, they had sectioned off a large area that also allowed us to spill out into the garden, allowing family and friends to just mill around together in our own private space sharing our memories. Would highly recommend this pub for small family get together and will definitely be going across again to try the menu!
There was 5 of us. Food was good 3 of us had Gammon pineapple chips and peas all thought good for price.. One had Classic Burger and chips enjoyed. The other one had Hunters Chicken said was nice. Staff where helpful and friendly. For what you pay it was overall good meal.
I brought my fiancee in today for lunch and the food and drink was absolutely brilliant im quite partial to an ale and these were some of the best pints I've had well kept full of flavour and perfect temperature the food was absolutely delicious and great value for money and the staff were friendly as always and absolutely brilliant so I'd just like to say a big thank you to the team that was on today and that I will be coming back soon.
Located at the 'Y' intersection of busy roads, access to this pub by car is not the easiest, and later departure is also a bit dangerous from my experience due to the blind bend to the immediate left as you exit the car park. Also the car park itself is not very big, with space for about 25 cars. Parking is free but REMEMEBER to enter your registration number at the counter terminals or face a fine.
The bar is staffed by really nice staff so you do feel welcome. Given it location and lower prices there are many regular drinkers here and it shows in the relaxed atmosphere. It is very friendly. There are many families here to and this helps make this a very safe envirnoment and you will defintely enjoy a visit.
There is a large selction of food served here and with dedicated seating to the left you can choose a restaurant feeling or a more pub experience to the right. There are also large screens on the right and a big screen which shows major live sports events.
There is a dedictaed events room to the right also which is almost always being used, such is the popularity of this pub.
The food is really nice and pretty well priced when you see the deals they do. And the drinks too are good value deapsite being on the cusp of wealthy Harborne.
I have entertained firends here and it has never failed to deliver on a lovely day.
Staff were wonderful, and a lovely kid friendly pub. Food was really good and we go at least once a week. Although you have a lovely heated smoking area, men congregate at the front door which is not nice to walk through. As I mentioned, we go every week but I only have 2 stamps on the app
