So good here!! The interior is super cool and cosy yet trendy. The staff are so friendly, we had a guy with a twizzely moustache serve us. The food is to die for!! Fries side is a full portion though I suggest sharing 😅Cocktails are really nice too. Would 100% recommend 🙌👅🍔🍟🍹
Amazing hippie burger (best burger ever) cheesy fries and money fingers (spicy chicken strips) delicious cocktails and very friendly and attentive staff. A must!!
Just down to the London Road (Brighton)...I visited this place with friend who has been telling me about this place for quite long and we decided to go here for lunch; after that first lunch it has been our one a week for lunch place.
This place is nice...spacious & seating arrangement is good; tables are big so we can go with larger groups...ambiance of the place is one of their kind.
I find menu of the restaurant quite simple... categorised in meat i.e. Beef Chicken & Veggie.
They are famous for their buffalo sauce and onion rings…sides menu is also good…also has shakes and floaters...section called part timers is also looks good
Place is also famous for its triple chili challenge...ill try definitely next time I visit and we’ll let you know.
So as per recommendation I ordered BUFFALO CHICKEN BURGER which is chicken burger covered in house-made hot pepper sauce, lettuce, red onions, blue cheese sauce.
We also ordered Buffalo wings and Onion Rings and cheese fries (Not Chips…they are French fries).
You can ask the server for recommendations they are really good and they know their menu well so ask for help if you are confused.
They also have some lunch offer like choice of Burger + Bottom less Soda for 10 quid.
I also tried burgers from veggies menu, but I dint liked the veggie options much (my personal opinion and taste you may like it).
Place is open all day...they have full bar options available

I actually ventured out of London to try the XXXmas menu at MeatLiquor - it was my first visit to their branch in Brighton. I think it might actually have my favourite interior of the whole chain.
Anyway, the food - top of my list to try of the festive options was their XXXmas Garbage Plate - fries, sausage & stuffing patty topped with slices of roast turkey served with gravy, cranberry sauce and crispy stuffing sprinkles. I'm a fan of fries with OTT toppings anyway (I love a good poutine) so this was always going to be my favourite.
I had the XXXmas Burger too - instead of your usual beef, this burger had a sausage and stuffing patty, roast turkey, crispy bacon, gravy and cranberry sauce. It was delicious and tasted like Christmas.
It was very similar in flavour to the garbage plate (obviously, since it has virtually the same ingredients) so I would suggest ordering one or the other - not both like I did!
I also tried the Xmac & Cheese - deep fried camembert and stilton mac and cheese with a cranberry and port dipping sauce. These were divine. I love the regular mac and cheese bites but these were extra oozy and cheesy and the sauce was perfect. I definitely over cranberried on this meal!
We also ordered from the regular menu - the Chicken Parma Burger and the Fried Pickles (my favourite side!).

Meatliquor in London gave me my first ever glimpse into the world of big fat greasy burgers and I blame them for my subsequent addiction. Whether it be Liquor / Market / Mission I’ve enjoyed and devoured them all. When I heard they were opening one in Brighton, I immediately planned a trip to the seaside – with my gentleman companion and my parents in tow. At 4pm on a Sunday there was no queue – hoorah! It’s a rather attractive looking place with a purple glow throughout. It felt, dare I say it, a lot more camp than it’s London counterparts – after all we were in Brighton! Psychedelic sex shop were the words that sprung to mind for some reason! We were seated in a little booth area which was nice as there were proper chairs as opposed to benches – far more parent friendly. The menu was quite large and given its seaside location there were a couple of fish options which was nice to see. We decided to start with some buffalo shrimp (£8.50). These plump juicy prawns tasted so fresh and we
Very juicy burgers. Slaw and loaded fries were also yum. Would have loved to try their shakes. Hopefully next time. really liked the vibe of the place… very unique.
MeatLIQUOR is, I suppose, a trendy food bar; apparently, one must wait in line for hours and hours at the London venue. Here, in Brighton, on Thursday at noon, things were different, or rather, the place was still empty. I was struck by the fancy colour scheme and so was my son, so we went in.
Yes, well, better eat outside when you have epilepsy. I don't, but that nearly changed on visiting the loo. Don't misunderstand, I liked the place's design theme, it's just a bit... overpowering.
OK, food then, because that's what we're here for. I had a Dead Hippie Burger. It did not contain dead hippies, as Wednesday would complain, but it was a really nice burger. My wife and daughter had theirs wrapped rabbit-style (ie in lettuce, nu bun) while my son went for the BBQ wings. I had my fries Nashville dusted, which was rather too salty and maybe a pit too spicy for all tasted.
I was happy here, and will come again, but it's not worth waiting three hours in the rain for what is essentially a good hamburger.
Very quiet night a Sunday at 7:30 but we were sat and left so we ordered on the app, service throughout really lacked, they didn't have the drink we ordered so got something similar, and got a birthday shot for my boyfriend which was a nice touch.
Food arrived in good time and to spec. There was no atmosphere so we moved on pretty quick after eating as already paid and no real incentive to stay. Had to go to the bar to pay for the drinks. I've always loved the MEAT brand and visited the London ones alot so was a shame Brighton didn't have the same customer service vibe.
I enjoyed the chips and the buffalo wings as it was freshly made. I didn't really like the burger and the vanilla milkshake.
It's a nice place to hang out with your friends, colleagues or a date but definitely not kids friendly.
It makes me sad hearing a lot of the branch’s are closing down. The food at any meat liquor is always amazing. I’ve never had a bad meal at one. Always been a big fan and choose you over most places if you’re available.
Please let this one stay open, if you do ever shut shop can you tell me the secret recipe for the buffalo sauce 😏
If you’ve never eaten at one you do not know what you’re missing!
Was staying in brighton and was looking for a place to eat. We stumbled across this diner, we orded a dead hippie burger, cheese and onion fries, plain jane burger and salt n pepper fries. Good food, good service and great atmosphere.
Definitely recommend the lunch menu here! Lots of veggie options and good burgers! Love on the lunch menu u can have flavoured fries! Brioche buns are a perk! Staff friendly!
Blown away with how awesome this was. Great food, great service and great atmosphere.
Lots of vegan /veggie options and fairly priced. We’ll be back!
Staff was excellent and the burgers were amazing the onion rings were the biggest I have ever seen great food great service great prices
First time back in a few years, the place still has that edgy atmosphere and great service. Took the work team for dinner and the guys were great - even let us take my pooch in with us. Would definitely recommend it 👍🏻
