Lovely lunch here. Really good service and amazing food. Their elderflower lemonade is really nice. Highly recommend their pork belly and their green curry. We both enjoyed our meals and will definitely be coming back.
Definitely recommend visiting if you’re in Brighton for the day 😍

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Browns in Brighton, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience! From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted by the lovely server named Anna, who truly made my visit unforgettable.
Anna's friendly and welcoming demeanor immediately put me at ease. She exuded a genuine passion for her job, taking the time to make sure I felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout the evening. Her attentiveness and attentiveness to detail were truly commendable.
When it came to the menu, Anna's knowledge and creativity shone through. She was more than happy to provide recommendations and answer any questions I had about the dishes. Her suggestions were spot on, and I was delighted by the delicious meal that followed. Not only did Anna ensure that my food arrived promptly and cooked to perfection, but she also made sure that my dietary preferences were accommodated without any fuss.
Aside from her exceptional service, Anna's cheerful personality and sense of humor added a delightful touch to the dining experience. She effortlessly created a warm and lively atmosphere, making me feel like a valued guest. Anna's ability to engage with customers and establish a genuine connection truly sets her apart.
I left Browns that evening with a full stomach and a smile on my face, all thanks to the outstanding service provided by Anna. Her friendly nature, creativity, and attention to detail made my visit truly memorable. I can't wait to return to Browns and have Anna as my server once again!
If you're looking for a diner in Brighton that offers delicious food and exceptional service, look no further than Browns. And if you're lucky enough to have Anna as your server, you're in for a treat!

First time in Browns, took my wife for her birthday.
Excellent service, we were looked after by Chrissie, making sure all was ok, but never pestering.
Food was superb, 3 courses, just the right amount of time between courses
When pudding was served, Chrissie had put a lit candle on one of the deserts!, and the chef had written 'happy b day' on the plate in chocolate! ...we both sang happy birthday of course!
A real nice touch..
An excellent experience, very professional and will be calling again next time we're in Brighton!

Took my wife for her birthday. We had the lemon sole and roasted cod with kale salsa Verde. Unfortunately the cod was meant to come with watercress, but when it came to the table it was served with pea shoots. This was a bit annoying as watercress is about my favourite food and pea shoots the opposite! We oredered a side of Tenderstem with the pine nut granola which altgough did not work for me flavour-wise, was still very nice.
Had a pink Squirrel cocktail and a peach aperol spritz which were both nicely made. With dinner we moved on to a bottle of Côté Océan sauvignon blanc which was beautiful and smooth, but seemed quite expensive at £35 a bottle for what should normally be less than a tenner.. (However I guess this is part and parcel of eating out, so I'm not being overly critical here).
I feel a bit unfair giving only three stars for atmosphere because this was probably more down to the fact it was a wet Tuesday evening in mid October - so probably not as busy as other times of the week anywhere! The seats were comfortable and the decor is tasteful and well kept, so I can imagine it being a great atmosphere during busier times (we just happened to visit in a quiet period).
Overall I thought the sevice was good. Food was well presented, but given the higher end prices I would say it was very nice, not outstanding.

We had the breakfast menu and smoothies. We had the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs and the eggs Royale. The food and smoothies were absolutely delicious and of high quality and beautifully presented.
We were celebrating my son’s birthday and the server, Alexandra surprised him with a Birthday ice cream plate and it was beautiful. Alexandra was friendly professional attentive and went above and beyond to look after us, thank you.

Good service, lovely atmosphere and good food, (although our eggs and mushrooms were cold) Our round table was wobbly. Otherwise, it was good brunch!

Staff are kind, friendly, attentive and helpful.
Food was excellent - we both had three courses and all different dishes. Well done chef and team.
The rooms weren’t crowded the day of our meal which was nice!
All in all, good value and a very good experience.

I came here for lunch with my friend and we were not disappointed. The service was immaculate and we had help ordering 4 starters and the octopus main to share. There was plenty of food and it came out perfectly. I love seafood and the octopus and scallops were fantastic.
I would highly recommend for a lunch and the price was worth it.

My husband had the Parsnips & Apple Soup, which was disappointing.
We all had the Smoked Haddock Fishcakes which were delicious.
I had the melt in your mouth Chocolate Fondant.
My husband had a decadent Cappichino.

Stopped for fish and chips for lunch in Brighton. Absolutely nothing to dislike here at Brown's. Fish batter was crispy, Fish was moist and flaky, well cooked chips, nice wine. Service pleasant and very prompt. Would return

Amazing, excellent service by Angus and great food.

Had a really good fish n chips. Batter nice and dry (I hate slimy batter.) My friends had various other dishes and we were all very pleased with our food.
Bit of a mix up with the table, which was chosen and booked a whole month before yet wasn’t available on the day. I’ve since learnt that it’s not always possible, so do bear this in mind.
The table we were given turned out alright. Many thanks to our hosts for inviting us as much fun was had by all.
Cannot fault the table staff as they were very attentive and ‘bon appetit’ to the chef.
Would definitely go again.

Would highly recommend, i booked a table through book a table and even though we were half an hour early we were seated straight away. It is light and airy with a cool funky vibe alot of vibrant plants and nice decor. The staff were amazing friendly and spot on David our waiter was truly excellent. They have a great selection on the menu my partner had the half roast chicken and i had the beetroot and avocado salad with added Salmon we were both very happy it was really tasty and a good portion size, desert was delish not your normal style Banoffee pie. The wine and cocktails are really good too, we headed out the restaurant to the bar a few doors down for cocktails after. i was very impressed and we will be sure to pay another visit.

My wife and I, popped in for a spot of lunch, and was very impressed with your two course lunch menu. I had steak frittes, which was superb, and my wife had the pot pie, both were excellent. The staff were very friendly and attentive, which resulted in a very tasty & relaxing lunch.

The food was absolutely amazing and staff really friendly. Our waitress Sydney (Not sure on spelling!) was so bubbly and friendly and really helpful. We were not rushed at all which was great for a Saturday night. Would highly recommend a visit.

We took my mum for her birthday , the food was the best I've had in a long time , and I must say our waitress, can't remember her name but she had purple hair couldn't be more helpful to us , definitely worth a visit ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Browns definitely has the best service and eye candy to be seen in Brighton. I felt the food was a bit over priced in terms of the quantity, but overall a hugely recommended place by my friends and me and my tummy had a great time.
