Great place to fill up cheaply - the reviewers moaning about "real Indian food" don't get the concept of an affordable buffet. The onion bhajis and vegetable pakora were piping hot and the curries regularly refilled. We saw a myriad of people eating here from bodybuilders filling up on endless bowls of dhal to a family having a full-blown feast. Please don't bash small restaurants like this, they have their place in Brighton and are appreciated by many!

This place recently went vegan and we were amazed how delicious the food is. It's all you can eat, the quality and quantity of the food is great, and the staff is superb. 5 / 5 btw the vegan chocolate milkshake is brilliant

Really good value for money (6.95) for an all you can eat place, good (vegan only) selection, so great for going to with friends with dietary requirements/allergies and I could happily live on the pakoras they serve there for life. It would be good if they could maybe rotate some of the dishes they serve there every now and then, but I guess the set dishes are why it’s so cheap. One of my favourite places to have lunch when I’m in the centre of the city.

Great deal for veg/vegan Indian buffet. Changed hands a few years ago, has gone totally vegan now, but prices are up from £4.99 to £6.99 for an all-you-can-eat deal. Still, a total bargain, so good that sometimes I just go in to eat dahl, rice and salad. The food is delicious, but all very mild, if you're looking for a more spicy curry. Highly recommend. In the centre of town near Brighton's famous laines.

The food here is amazing, every time I have been the food has been just perfect! I am vegan and so it can be hard to find good places to eat, but this place has a great range of curries for vegans and thus I'm not stuck just getting the same thing every time like with most restaurants. Plus, the value is just amazing since it's under £5 for an all you can eat buffet! And on top of all that the service is always prompt and friendly. Absolutely no complaint for this restaurant!

Exceptional value at £6.95 for all you can eat Vegan Indian buffet. Dishes include Bombay Aloo, vegetable curry, potato pakora and a lovely cauliflower curry cooked using coconut milk.
However, a wise man once said that a restaurant's kitchen can be judged by its toilets and the toilet is in need of a really good clean and the stairs down to the toilet speak of a need to redecorate. That said I would eat there again as it has a nice atmosphere and I enjoyed the food.

Set price self-service Indian Vegetarian buffet. All dishes were well prepared and presented and full of flavour. Rice pudding and fresh fruit is available for sweet and the mins are accompanied by a large range of pickles, breads, salads etc.
All in all, excellent value for money.

Great Indian veggie buffet. They make homely food, no frills. Not easy to find such places in today's world of gourmet dining. Very surprised at how popular it really is. People sure appreciate well-cooked simple food, even if it be vegetarian. Also, it's very cheap.

Bombay Aloo is a vegan Indian restaurant. It does a variety of curries and side dishes. It's a buffet style help yourself to all you can eat. There are a variety of drinks hot, cold soft drinks, milkshakes and alcoholic ones. It's £6.95 very reasonable. Good atmosphere

Now almost 100% vegan - woohoo! This place is a legendary all you can eat Indian buffet restaurant. Never had a bad experience here (not even including the time I went there and an army of bloody Morris dancers were in there eating). Super cheap, fill ya face, job done.

This was just what I needed on a cold November afternoon. The restaurant is cozy and the owner was friendly. The food was good. Not the best curry I've had, for sure, but it was all very wholesome. Felt a lot like a home-cooked meal. Everything was hot, and nothing tastex stale.
Onion Bhajees had lost their crunch somewhat, but still tasty. Great place for students looking for a quick and filling meal on a budget.

What a brilliant vegan life saver. I found them to be across the Street from my hotel and the food was tasty, varied and vegan. Pricing was just a flat out bargin and always seemed busy and very popular staff were very helpful and didn't pester, good range of drinks and I never had to wait long for a seat. I'd reccomend this place to anybody in need ofcwholesome Indian vegsn food.

We ate there on Friday but we were disturbed to see a large swarm of flies around the salad section. It was not covered and the flies were on the food. The rice pudding was off and tasted bad. It could cause illness and although we complained to the young man running the restaurant today, he didn't seem to care very much. We have been coming to the restaurant for years and never seen such a thing before. Fresh food must be covered in summer. Rice pudding should be kept cool. I hope that you take this matter seriously.

I love it. Especially now it’s all vegan. Especially the potato in batter.
